All these dodgy self-help threads sef. Ruining lives since 1914.
Workphobic implies a fear of work, whereas what you described is a workaholic.
In the case of the latter, first and foremost, the lady should be independent and confident in her own skin. Develop a high sense of self-worth and you won't feel the insecurity of a committed partner.

I will advise you to learn to live without a man. If success is what a man desires, his only ticket to the billionaires club is work, and to take his time a way from work makes him avoid you. A determined man will be be distracted not even by his wife.

If your dream is to be with a man who must give you maximum attention, then you need made-men, rich kids or sugar daddies. People whose financial security has been cemented and they are ready to rock 'n' roll, and these class of people are not many in number out there. The price you have to pay to meet with people on this echelon may not be affordable and your beauty might not be enough to draw the attention of the occupants of this class. The reason is because, they interact in their class, enjoy their specs within their cycle.

I am writing about this because I happen, by chance and hard work happen to grow up within these cycles and trust me, you have to be exceptional beautiful first to attract them, then intelligent enough to keep them and classy enough to own them.

But I advise you should focus on yourself and not subject yourself to parasitism. When you work hard enough and smart enough to gain access to this class, you will have no reason to attempt to keep a man always engaged on you. You will enjoy work as passion.

Re: How To Deal With A Workaholic Man by oluwabishop:
Dear OP, kindly permit me to point out corrections.

There is no proper adjective called 'workphobic' or an English word called 'workphobia' in the context used above. If you are talking about a person who loves and indulge in their work so much, they are called "workaholic".

Besides, the word/suffix 'phobia', for absolute clarity, translates to mean a fear of something. Hence the etymological meaning of your new word 'workphobic' would be a person who fears /hate their job. And this does not apply to the context of your passage.

A high sounding word isn't always correct.
Re: How To Deal With A Workaholic Man by seguno2: 1:55pm On Dec 17, 2016
I thought that phobia means FEAR?
Workphobic would therefore mean fear of work.
We should try to say what we mean correctly in the language that we have chosen to express ourselves in.
Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing excellently.

Phobia means fear or dislike for something. A man who is workphobic should avoid work rather than working excessively

When you start dating, you always desire to become a priority in your partner’s life. There are many cases where you will find your man or woman keeps you as the top priority and never lets you down. But, there are few career-oriented people who do not treasure the value of a partner. If you have a man who loves career more than you, then here are few tips to deal with such a workphobic.

Deal with a workphobic man:

Talk to him: Many women get into extra-marital affairs only at the time when their men do not ask their wives. If you want to save your relationship, talk to your man and discuss. Explain him that it becomes impossible for you to manage everything alone. If he fights with you, you have to take a stand.

Can you ignore?: This is what many women wish to do, ignore their men. But, is it really possible to ignore your man and stay in your own world, the way he does? The answer is a big Yes! You have to stop caring about him. When he is not bothered to ask and care about you, just leave him and start concentrating on yourself. When he is not at all interested to think about you and the dedication that you have towards him, start thinking that he doesn’t exist. Many women suffer as their men are always far away for work or business purpose. Thus, these women gets used to staying all alone. Even if workphobic men are at home, they will hardly look above their laptop screen!

Hang out with friends: Why die alone when your man is not bothered about you? Go out, meet your friends and spend some time out of your house. This is one of the best ways to deal with depression that comes when you stay with a man who loves his career more. Go out, shop, party and enjoy with friends.

Ask him: You do not need to ask him to leave his job and sit at home with you. Here, this tip means that you have to ask your workphobic man if he going to prioritize you with his job or not. The answer will make clear on what he values the most. If he tries to explain, you stand on your front and tell how much you suffer when he leaves you all alone.

Decide: If your man is not at all bothered, you have to take a decision. If he loves career more, it is best that you move on. It is no use of staying with a person who can’t respect your existence in his life. If your workphobic man understands your issues and is ready to solve them, restart.

Do you know the difference between WORKAHOLIC(loves to work) and your WORKPHOBIA (hates to work)?

phobia means aversion to something. In your case, you are talking about a man who has extreme or irrational fear of work a.k.a. extremely lazy man. You got your definition twisted. Next time, do not copy any English article written by an Asian.

Re: How To Deal With A Workaholic Man by ihatesycophant(m):
Some of your points are OP,(out of point). Hanging out with friends can even complicate her issue. There are some unrealistic friends that would compound your situation, except you're talking of the unmarried. The only way out for a workaholic husband is for the wife to engage in an unbroken communication till she gets what she want. I don't mean, talking on top of your voice or making a show of everything. It has to be a mutual communication, laced with soft words and respect. Above all be prayerful and continue engaging your workaholic hubby.
Besides, if your guy is not hardworking, it would also tell on the family. So, get rid of the temptation of pushing your hubby towards the wall, that he'll not want to perform his fatherly role and make him lazy or deteriorating his health. Remember some are naturally born to be full of energy for up and down, the day they stopped it, it starts showing on their health. So this advice may perfectly work for prospective family not already established home.

So currently bored at a wedding so lemme comment.

My man can be busy for all I care. Introvert(check), loner(check), enjoy being on my own(check). As long as he makes a lot of money for the house. He can be at the end of the earth for all I care. Would get a puppy and cheat on him with it.

This write-up doesn't make sense. I'm a workaholic and that doesn't mean I'd value my biz more than my future partner. I don't like being in a position where I can't afford basic things of life cos it leaves me with depression. What's as sweet as sitting at home on a weekend, getting a financial request from a loved one and within few minutes, you've transferred funds to them like I just did, without having to worry about where the cash would come from? Do you know how it feels not to be able to provide? Being a workaholic for me, makes me able to take care of my family. I rarely call my mum nor visit her, and it's not cos I don't care. I think about her all day. But she understands I'm tryna hustle and doesn't bother me much. As early as 6am, I'm already making and picking / returning calls, SMS and stuffs. Same thing goes on till late at night before I sleep. Are you expecting me to stop all that, just to chat up with a lady? Don't expect a man to be on the phone with you talking nonsense when he's supposed to be fending. A man without the means would loose his self esteem faster than the speed of light.

Yes, it's good to talk to him often about creating time for you both, and try to do it in a sweet loving manner. I also think men should try and create time for their women as often as they can. Ladies, if you value your home, don't follow this nonsense written here by the OP of this article else you wreck your home.
