"My name is Angela, but you can call me Angel, I'm sorry about the other time. I wasn't in a good mood".
"OMG, did she just..." I smiled.
Before she finished her brief speech I was already blushing. I felt like I was in another world, probably paradise. How powerful a woman can be.
"Why are you blushing?" She said. Feeling inquisitive but smiling still.
"Noo, I am just happy. I just cant believe that you're actually right here by my side talking to me. It's as if I'm dreaming". I said.
"Aww, that's so cute. I have heard alot about you. I heard you are intelligent. And this pastor just confirmed it." Angel Said
"me intelligent, I pray o, this pastor just hype me for nothing" I said to myself.
I am actually just an average student. Although I put in my best in what I do but that doesn't make intelligent. I therefore had to capitalize on that, if I wanted to get what I want.
"I am just trying my best. Infact do you know I got the highest score in our post ume exam. I love to read alot. Before the professor even start to teach I already know what he is about to say. My friends said I should reduce the way I read else I'd run mad." I exaggerated, in the devil will shocked at what I just said.
"Wao! Temy take it easy o. You know I like you. Can you help me write my optional course. Please" she said, holding my hands and caressing them.
"Of cause I will" I felt at peace with her hands on mine.
After a brief pause, she said "my birthday is coming up next week I hope you will be there. I am just inviting very few friends. Can I have your contact"
We eventually exchanged numbers. I was the happiest guy in the world that day. I went my Maysons house that day.
"Mayson, I don get Angels number. Everywhere good o" I said as I jump on his bed and crossed my legs like a man who has just finished a bowl of fufu and egusi soup and plenty plenty meat.
"How manage, you put jazz for mouth?, You surprise me o" Mayson said, looking at me, all surprised.
"Oboy, me no know how I take do am. In fact na she approach me. Her birthday na next week, you go show?"
"Which kind question you dey ask me so, of cause na. I no fit loose guard"
"I believe you. Wetin you cook?" I asked
"I wan prepare rice and stew." Mayson responded
"Oboy! Do quick I dey hungry o. Take this 500 add am join, make we organise better stew." I said, stretching my hands and a 500 naira note to Mayson.
Mayson went out to buy the important ingredients needed to cook the stew while i played soccer on his play station 3. Not quite long I got a phone call from Angel.
Angel: Hello
Me: Hey, baby. How you doing
Angel: I am good. I just called to check up on you.
Me: Oh thank you.
"Has this babe, fallen in love? . Why this sudden connection, this amazing", I wondered, happily.. "Anyways we shall see". I thought to myself.

Days passed... It was finally Angels birthday. I made sure I was the first to text her, so I woke very early in the morning. ''What present can I get her'' I wondered. ''or should I get her a teddy bear or a shoe''?. All these rhetorical questions went through my mind. ''This girl na big babe o, make I no go fall my hand o'', I wondered. ''okay, first thing in the morning I will call Mayson, he is good at this kind of stuffs''. I therefore went back to sleep, feeling a little bit satisfied that there will be a solution in the morning.

I had a knock on my door very early in the morning. I was really enjoying my sleep, my brother Ty, laid right next to me.

Me: Abeg, go check who be that( I ordered as a big brother of the house)

Ty: who be that (my little brother shouted, I could tell he was still feeling very sleepy)

Emafidon: Na me Emafidon.

Me: wetin this idiot dey find again (I said to myself)

Emafidon: abeg, you fit borrow me your broom and packer, I wan use am sweep my room.

This was a regular trend on campus. Students love borrowing things alot. It amuses me. They'd borrow clothes, foodstuffs, iron, hot plates, dvd player, headset, shoes, bags. Just to name a few. In fact, there can even go as far as borrowing your under wear. It's that terrible.

Me: TY abeg give am the broom and packer at the back of that door.

Ema: thank you, I go return am after I finish.

I smiled, we all know that's not possible. Over here in my school, once you borrow something out, you'd be the one begging for your own property back. Sometimes you might not even get it back again. It's that bad.

''This my yeye neighbour don ruin my sleep'' I said to myself. ''I better call mayson right away''

Me: hello

Mayson: Temy afa na. How was your night?

Me: Fine o, how was yours?

Mayson: fine thank you. Today na your upcoming babe birthday, how e wan be?

Me: That's exactly why I called you. I was thinking of getting her a present, but I don't know which. I'm confused.

Mayson: which yeye present, you don blow the babe?

Me: No

Mayson: then why you wan buy am present, see this guy o?

Me: I was thinking she'd feel more happier if she gets one from me.

Mayson: lover boy. Temy, your presence at the party is all that matters. You get. Don't go too far, take it slowly.

Me: okay bro. Thanks. I will come over to your place to pick you up. Is Thompson coming along with us.

Mayson: yes of course. Including Marvis.

Me: you invited Marvis?

Marvis, was also a friend of mine, we weren't that close. He was this fresh lanky dude. All the girls wanted him. He was just to fly

Mayson: you dey fear. No level. He no go take your babe.

Me: no wahala. Let me take my bathe. I will come over to your place.

We finally Left for angels hostel around 3:30pm. She stayed off campus, very close to market square. We were four in numbers, myself, Thompson, Marvis and Mayson. We all looked fresh in our T-shirt and jeans trousers.

We got to Angels hostel, she was looking pretty as ever, but she was drenched with water. Pouring water on birthday celebrants, and graduating students was a regular trend in AAU, so I wasn't quiet astonished with what I saw.

Angel was so surprised to see me. She ran towards me and gave me a huge hug. I could feel her wet boobs resting perfectly on my chest. I didn't want to let go, but I just had to, in other to avoid unforeseen circumstances, probably a dirty slap. if you know what I mean.

Angel: I didn't expect to see you. Oh! You brought your friends. Marvis how are you?, mayson and Thompson thanks for showing up. (she was so happy)

she took us into her room. Her room was so large, it could accommodate at least 20 people 'comfortably'. She had a very huge flat screen tv, home theatre system, there we three beds, which obviously means she's got roommates. She had a big wardrobe and other girly things could found, of which I shouldn't mention.

Marvis: temy, so, we no go rock yansh today, see how everywhere scanty? (he whispered to me)

me: marv, chill. Lets see how it all goes down first.

Marv: make we do make we dey move.

Me: make we dey observe first ( I tried to cool him down)

Angel: why are you guys whispering are you guys shy? Let me get you guys something to drink.

She left. She came back with 3 huge packs of indomie noodles and 4 bottles of Pepsi. She served us, the soft drinks and she left for the kitchen to cook the noodles.

Me: Mayson, E be like say she wan go cook. Do you think I should eat her food? (Mr shy guy was already beginning to take control of me)

Mayson: as a friend, I will advice you not to eat. If you know, say you like her, don't eat. You have to be a big boy.

Me: okay bro. But I'm so hungry right now. I never eat since o.

Thompson: Man up Temy. Don't eat. Listen to Mayson.

Not too long, Angel brought the food. It was well garnished. I could perceive the aroma passing through my nose. My friends wasted no time, they began to eat, while I sat there looking like a zombie. I felt like crying.

Angel: Temy, Ain't you going to eat?

Me: I'm okay. I've already eaten. In fact, my stomach is filled up. (I lied)

Angel: But I prepared it for you. Are you sure?

My stomach did the reply, by making the ''brrrrrrrrrr, brrrrrrrr, brrrrr'' sound. ''oh God, my stomach wan disgrace me abi'' I said to myself. Angel laid quietly on her bed while my friends continued dismantling the food.

Her roommates came in, not quiet long. There were 3 in number, looking so beautiful. They introduced themselves as CHarity, Remi and precious, we all reciprocated by telling them our names.

Charity: Angel, why are you looking so sober, today is your birthday come on.

Remi: babe, why are you sad?

Angel turned deaf ears to their pleas and worries. It dawn on me that I had F*#Ked up.

.... I felt really unhappy. I made my dream girl sad. I wished I could turn back the hands of time, but that wasn't possible. I had just ruin her day. Her room mate left her to continue with their chores.
My friends all starred at me like I was the villain.

Me: Thompson, lets go. I can't stay here no more. I've just ruined Angels day. I've tried begging her but she just doesn't want to talk me.

Thompson: Relax. I have an idea. Don't worry, I will lighten this place up. Let me get something outside

Me: you wan leave me abi?

Thompson: I dey come.

The whole room was very silent. Worst part, there was no light. Power holding company was at it again. Angel laid on her bed, turning her face to the wall. My two other friends, Mayson and Marv were busy pressing their phones.

Not quiet long, Thompson came in. He wasnt alone. He brought with him a bottle of vodka, chocolate flavor. ''abeg, pass that drink over here''. I said, feeling frustrated. I gulped the ''HOT'' vodka, drinking almost half of it.
It tasted chocolaty.

All of a sudden, I began to see things, not just anything but Spiritual things. I could see the future. I was feeling so light, I felt like I could fly. The feeling was wonderful. I could tell, Alcohol had just defeated Mr shy guy. I was a new being. Well, at least for that moment. I looked towards Angels direction and smiled. I slowly went to her and laid right next to her.

Me: baby, I'm sorry. Such won't repeat itself again.

Angel: Temy, your breathe stinks, you drank too much.

Me: are you sure?

I smiled. I kissed her cheek, she said nothing. I felt an adrenaline rush through me, Angels skin was so soft, more softer than a bread freshly brought out from the oven. I slowly caressed her hair, while I kissed her ear lobs. She moaned. Her neck wasn't left out the action, I kissed it simultaneously. She wanted more, I could tell. I went straight for her bre@st, I dipped my hands into her shirt. Damn! She wasn't putting on a bra. He nippl@s were so Hard and erect, her breast was so soft. I squeezed it slowly. This time she let out a loud moan. ''I'm sorry'' I whispered into her ears, tongue kissing her lips. My friends just kept starring at me looking fascinated like they were watching a zee world or a telemundo series. I came right back to my senses when Mayson began to cough repeated.

Thompson: Lover boy and Birthday girl, I bought this vodka so we fit play game o. Temy you don almost half this drink.

Mayson: Lets play 'Truth or Dare'

Angel: okay, I'm not that good at this game. ( she stood up, leaving me on the bed with an erected dick)

Me: I will teach you.

Angels roommate gathered round. We formed a circle. In fact we bought additional vodka to make sure every individual in that room got drunk. The game kicked start with.... ''I dare you to kiss Remi'', '' do a lap dance on Mayson for 5 minutes'', '' give us 5 f*@king style you know of'', '' deep your hands into his boxers'', ''I dare you to strip Angel'', ''I dare you to grab Precious boobs''. ''I dare you to show Thompson the color of your pant''. We all got drunk, consuming 2 bottles of vodka. And before one could say ''Jack Robinson''. We all picked partners. Kissing and smooching ourselves.

This was a day I will never forget, it still lingers in my memory.

Re: My Life On Campus (A True Life Story). by YungTemy(m): 12:17am On Dec 20, 2016
On a very good Friday Morning, I was preparing to go for a class by 11 am, when I got a call from Thompson.

Thompson: Temy were my Money, you still dey owe me since you no wan give me abi.

Me: chill, you no say I no get ATM, and My class schedule is just too tight, I will give you your money.

Thompson: I need that money, badly. Me and Destiny dey come your house now.

Destiny was a very close friend to Thompson, although he wasn't in our department, but he was always around our halls. We all knew his intention. He just couldn't hide the fact that he was after our departmental girls.

Me: I dey go school right now, make we meet for Chris Oyakilomes hall, I dey wait you there.

Thompson: it's as if you don't understand me. I dey owe one senior man money, The guy is on my neck.

The word ''senior man'' in my school literally mean ''A member of a confranity". You don't mess with these guys.

Me: my money dey bank, I no fit skip lectures, and today na Friday. Follow the bros explain.

Thompson: when you dey come, bring your bank passbook. (He hung up)

''which kind guy be this wan now?'' I thought to myself. But he was my friend, I just couldn't fold my hands and watch my friend bleed. I just had to help him.

I got to Chris Oyakilomes hall, I waited patiently for Thompson to show up. He came along side his friend Destiny.

Me: Destiny how you doing?

Destiny: I just dey. Help my friend out. You know say, if money dey, I for assist.

Thompson: Temy, you brought the passbook?

Me: of course.

Thompson: write the amount wey you dey owe me and sign, I go go bank go withdraw the money.

Me: you sure say, the accountant no go know (feeling skeptical)

Destiny: my guy, no level. I don do am before.

Me: okay o. But if them hold you, don't call me o.

Thomson: Temy you too much.

I wrote down, the amount I was owing him, which was 5000 naira and I signed. They hurriedly left for GT bank, to cash the money. While, I went to class.

After 2 hours of waiting for lectures to commence, I became fed up. The lecturer didn't come. I therefore went to NFA, I got myself a cold can of Pepsi, and eventually began The Israelites journey towards the school main gate. I got home, my brother had already prepared Rice and Stew, which I ate voraciously. He wasn't at home. I therefore laid on my bed after eating, thinking of Angel.

Not quiet long, my phone rang, it was Thompson. ''Hope this dude was able to collect this money'' I thought.

Me: Hello

Thompson: Temy, how fa where you dey?

Me: I dey house. You don collect the money?

Thompson: abeg, you fit show outside?

Me: okay, I dey come.

I immediately wore my short jean and a singlet and ran out side. To my greatest surprise, I saw Thompson and Destiny waving at me at the back of a Police Hilux. ''I done die, should I run?'' I asked myself.

Policeman 1: if you move, I go shoot you. Idiot

Policeman 2: so, you be thief abi.

Me: Oga I no be thief o.

I felt a mighty slap on my face. I could see stars, moon, and all the solar system revolving round my head. I had to regain myself, else, I might probably end up at YABA left.

Policeman 1: enter the hilux. Una go rotten for jail today. Igbo smokers, drug barons. Na una dey rob for night, thank God say we don catch you today.

Thompson: Temy no vex o.

Me: Mtcheww.

I stayed at the back of the hilux, putting on singlet and a short jean. I was looking very miserable. Beside me, were 3 policemen looking heavily armed with AK 47 rifles. This was the first time getting arrested. Worst part was I was just in 100level.

The siren blew loudly as we drove to the police station, the handcuffs on my wrist hurts really bad. I could see people starring at us. I could tell, they were all happy. ''Make them dey catch this criminals one by one''.

''Wetin, I go tell my papa?'' I tot. ''which kind of life is this, Thompson don put me for wahala like play, like play''. I was rudely interrupted by one of the policemen.

Policeman 1: Oya, sing along with me. ''shoutout to my real N*ggaz God go make you bigger o.... ''. He was singing Star boy Wizkid song.

Me, Thompson, Destiny: shoutout to my real N*ggaz...

Policeman 1: you dey mad (He interrupted), sing out aloud. Idiots. If na to dey thief you go sabi that one wella.

Policeman 2: una dey smoke igbo?

Destiny: No sir.

Policeman 3: you dey mad, see how una lips black anyhow. When we reach station una go confess.

Me: sir, I'm innocent sir.

Policeman 2: I go shoot you now, throwaway your body inside gutter.

The impression, ''the police is your friend'' is outrightly wrong. This people were cruel. They were heartless, they kept smacking us, till we got to the police station. The police station was dirty, there were lots of abandoned trunks, motorcycles and cars. These guys were so not friendly. We were told to write a statement, which we eventually paid for.

Policeman 1: una go call una parents right now. Tell them say una be thieves.

Thompson: I lost my Dad and my mum. (he lied) na only me dey train myself.

Policeman1 : you see say time don dey go, it's already 5pm, once today pass, una go stay here till on Monday.

Me: Bros, abeg o. (I began to cry like a baby) I no fit sleep for cell.

Policeman: una know say, what you guys did was Fraudulent and it is a crime. You guys will be sentenced to court. The only alternative na , if una pay 30k each.

Destiny: Bro, we no get that kind money o.

Policeman2: why you dey waste time with these people ( He cuts in) lock them inside the cell, make them join their mate.

Me: sir, we won't do it again. We promise.

They kicked us into the cell. We were told to remove our clothes, wrist watches and shoes. We were left with singlet and boxers. The cell was horrible. It stinks of S'hit and urine. We had over 10 inmates in that very small cell. The inmates kept starring at us with Hate and disgust.

''wetin be your name''? One of the inmate asked. ''I'm Temy'' I replied.

''YOUR FATHER!!!'', replied one of the inmates. '' you no know say na presido you dey follow dey yan, when you dey follow am talk, always say SIR''

Presido: welcome to my home. I go give you guys the rules which you must obey. First, you must always pay your dues. Right now, una go drop 500 naira.

Destiny began to laugh. I tried given him signs to keep quiet but he just couldn't help it.

Presido: you dey laugh abi. Pick pin. (pick pin was a very old punishment which was given to children who were disrespectful)

Destiny: I no dey laugh

Inmate 1: presido say make you pick pin you still dey talk.

Before, one could say, Jack Robinson. About 5 inmates pounced at Destiny, giving him the beating of his life....

PS: Thompson and Destiny werent arrested because they stole something. They were arrested because the GT bank accountant, didn't see a resemblance between the original owner of the account and the person withdrawing it, in fact he thought they forged my signature. He had to alert the police. Sadly enough, I was also an accomplice.

I tried to explain to the police, but just didn't want to listen. They turned deaf ears. But true fact, what I did was wrong. I shouldn't have given my friend my passbook to withdraw. It's against the law. And it's punishable. I was only ignorant then.

Learn from my past.
