I saw the video and I have read stories online.
1. About the camera: The camera man was focused on the Ambassador as he was about to start his speech. Ever heard of tripod stand? It holds camera.
NOTE: There are more than 1 camera in the room so different angles were towards the Ambassador and they captured different angles.

2. About falling Backward: Physics will tell us that where the load bearing is high- the object tend to fall toward that side. As you saw, the man is a little bit chubby - I don't want to use the word FAT- He fell where he leaned towards. A fat person tend to lean backward because of the big tummy

3. Why was he rasing his left hand : Logic: The guy is a right handed man. The gun was in his dormant hand. So, you were expecting the man to drop his guard to recite the Qur'an and then pick it up after reciting? Funny!!!

4. About security personnel there: Note, It is an art gallery in celebration of Russian culture. It is not a serious event more than that. You want the whole police to fill the place for such event? The guy gained entrance into the room because he is an off duty police officer. He showed his badge to gain access in the room. Was he the only police man there? I don't know.. He might as well have accomplices.

I am a professional video editor and I can tell you that video was not edited, the camera was focused on the man shot and later zoomed out to show the full length of the attacker... I could remember I said something like I ain't in support of his action more over his action wasn't cuz of religion but because of Russia's attack on Aleppo, I could remember when a Congolese was killed in India, some Indians in Congo had to pay with their life... that ain't justice but someone pained by the action of some Indians decided to attack their people. Some of them are even blaming the USA for the destruction of Aleppo which was done by Russia and Assad regime. When they use cheap and slow internet, the level of research will drop drastically.
