i did not mean that you should be an affiliate to wakanow. it all depends on the tempo you are starting with. wakanow is an affiliate to many airlines and hotels. it is a super affiliate recruiting affiliates. get an highly optimized blog on travels and a database of the affiliate programs of those airlines and hotels. you can also be their affiliate.. they all have affiliate program. if the process might seem tedious to you then it is better you stick to wakanow.

Why must I register a domain name when blogger can give me one even though it is not as standard as .com. Will they not accomplish the same result? What of if I use a url shortener to hide the name so that they will not notice if it is bloggers domain

a blogger domain will surely reduce your conversion. short urls do not mask. they only redirect and users will see the link as soon as they are on the site. in the guide i discussed about getting .com domains for only 0.99 dollar.
