Hi, did you get any form of scholarship from UCW even if it was $1?

Folaroyal:
Dear friends, i see a lot of people requesting information about the genuineness of university canada west UCW.....

I only happened to have just applied like any other person really!!..and then i begin to wonder why guys are so worried about this institution being a private one and why they don't take admission fees.... some even say its a scam uni.. !!
Meanwhile UCW isn't the only private University in Canada.

My main and only concern should be to confirm if it is approved by the government to host international students.... and which of course it does... with a DLI number.

The common thing about the private institutions either Uni or colleges is that they apply a lot of incentives to get students enrolled... what more do we expect from a for-profit establishment??

That's why most of them wont usually request application fees and they even call you up to follow through your application process.

And most of the schools aren't cheap!!.. UCW for instance charges about 40k for MBA and more if going through the foundation program (pre-MBA).

You can always romance google when in doubt or mail appropriate govt agencies to clear your doubts. Learn to use these tools at your disposal. When i was in doubt if one can apply for a study permit in USA while on visiting; i mailed los Angeles and got a feedback same day!
Good luck guys!!!

Regards

bro paper route or online guess both are almost d same, but if u ask me I prefer d paper route because u submit & run biometric same day.

To ur 2nd question, Go to CIC an download CIC forms ( application form, family form, questionnaire, vfs form ) etc alongside
ur
1.Proof of acceptance letter
2. Proof of identity
3. Proof of financial support by u or ur sponsor
4. Letter of explanation ( it a choice ) in some app it might not b needed
5.Affidavit of support
6.All ur academy documents
7.Birth cert
8.police clearance cert and feel free 2 add any other documents u feel will b helpful in ur applications. success

Either paper or online both are fine but ill suggest online because according to what i learnt from CVAC lekki
When u apply online

1. Your application is accesed anywhere .. meaning it could be a V.O from Canada that is working with your app or Ghana or Lagos and when he's true your passport request would be from Ghana or Lagos but most times Lagos issues that

2. If you apply by paper. It goes straight to Ghana. To me I feel Ghana has a lot it's processing . Like they process like 70% of Nigerian application and their country too. The work go plenty

3. If you apply by paper u do biometrics immediately. If u apply online you do it some days later or week later after a mail from CIC but the truth is that's not the Koko .. cause either u I will be given or rejected you would definitely do biometrics

To top it all either paper or online. Na God dey give the TRV. Involve him in the foundation of your application and he will show himself mighty

No issues... we're all learning!
What I am saying is that; your aged parents are much more useful as home ties that any assets that either belongs to you or anyone else!
I have listed factors that are primary ties to you earlier.
Regards.

I'm interested in this. So how does one use his aged parents as home ties? Stating that in his SOP? Including their pics as part of documents for Visa?

Lol I think the reason for the change in processing time may be due to the holidays.
Late or not, approval is the only thing that matters.

Shout to all those for Winter 2017, our patience and prayers will turn out for good. We didn't get this far to give up. Keep the faith.

I'm still at the admission stage. But if you can read through this thread and follow it, then I believe there is no need getting an agent. All decisions depend solely on you.

The major advantage of paper application is the capacity you have to attach as many supporting documents as possible.

Statistics here also reveal that paper application tends to be faster. There is a 90% confidence interval that a paper application will be processed in less than 12 weeks.

Paper applicatìon is also cheaper by about 30k, if forex is bought at the black market rate.

Hope this is clear.

You don't need to download any form.
The application is online thru their website and also payment.
I first applied for my transcript to be send to them and it was dispatch from Nigeria on 2nd of Dec.

I applied to NBCC on 5th of Dec and when the transcript reach their hand on the 9th, i got a mail from them that my document is complete and my application ready for evaluation.

Surprisingly, I got a mail with attached letter again on 20th Dec that have been placed on waiting list..
So, am just praying now for my admission status to change to offer.

Do what ever you have to do, pls do quick.

Pls I need a guide from anybody that once applied to New Brunswick Community College (NBCC),I'm about applying to the school, I've just downloaded the form. My questions are :
1. Will the completed form be mail via postal order or scanned?
2. Is scanned unofficial transcript accepted for admission process or I must provide an official transcript from my school?
3. Is o'level results part of the documents to send?
I will appreciate a prompt response pls as I'm already late for the Sept 17 app

Alright, thank you so much, that's my fear about NBCC, I think they receive loads of applications due to their low tuition fee. Which course and intake did you apply for ?

Hi bro., I am about completing an application into the same program, didn't you think is already late to send in application for that program considering the slow rate at which schools here process transcript. Pls note that I'm yet to send out my transcript I'm planning to do that 1st week of January

Hi good people, I've been thinking of using my mortgage agreement (rent) for my trv application but the problem is that the rent would expire in about 8 months time and we don't want to renew because we are thinking of finding a new accommodation elsewhere. Is it advisable to include the mortgage agreement to support the application or not.

Thanks @ll

I do not think there are specifics as to what family ties are; however, you could structure your LoE in such a way that it doesn't show immigration intent.

Yes you can do the application yourself and it is true that visa is not for the faint-hearted. Just the way it is not easy to be an excellent student. However, people like you do it themselves. In fact, this page was created for people who are willing to do it themselves with guidance, exchange of knowledge and experience.
So, if you lazy or too busy, you can contact an agent.
But beware cos there had been experience of agents with little, outdated, or no knowledge about the process. Some even submit fake documents that implicate applicants.
I would advise you take your life in your hands with diligence and prayers. Shalom!
