MTNF Nigeria Premier League 2016/2017 Chelsea Mikel, Iniesta my favourite stars reveals Watford-bound Uche Agbo Watford-bound midfielder Uche Agbo has revealed that Chelsea star Mikel Obi and Andres Iniesta of Barcelona are his favourite players. “Iniesta is a thinking player, who is a step ahead always. I also admire Mikel and Prince Boateng, who always wants to win,” revealed the 20-year-old Granada CF midfielder. His La Liga club are struggling this season for survival and he said he is delighted he has reverted to his “real” position as a defensive midfielder after he was first played in central defence earlier this season. “My real position is midfield and I am back there because that is where the new coach wants me to be,” said Uche Agbo, who moved to Spain three seasons ago. He will also back Lucas Alcaraz to get Granada out of trouble soon. “He relates very well with the players and insist on hard work in training,” he remarked. “There have been some major changes at the club recently, results will take time to come through, but I am confident we will get there soon.” Granada are second from bottom of La Liga table with nine points from 16 matches. mtnfootball.com/news/673869/Mikel-Iniesta-my-favourite-stars-reveals-Watford-bound-Uche-Agbo |

BascoVanVeli:What about Imoh Ezekiel? Chinese League should be considered when you are about to retire, not when you are still young. |

Watford Striker Ighalo : We Can Beat Any Team In The Premier League https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/98099Ighalo.jpg Watford attacker Odion Ighalo is hopeful that the Hornets will claim all three points when they face off with Crystal Palace on Boxing Day. The Nigeria international believes the Vicarage Road outfit are capable of doing damage to any team, and has pointed out they have already beaten champions Leicester City, Manchester United and West Ham this term. “We need to make sure we win on Monday to continue the momentum into the new year,” said Ighalo to Watford’s official website. “When you look at the teams we have beaten this season, West Ham, Leicester, Manchester United, it’s a great achievement for us. We know we can beat any team in this league on our day.” Ahead of the tie against the Eagles, Watford have won only once in their last five games in the top-flight, a 3-2 victory versus Everton at the Vic. terzurum5:Imoh is not in China he is in Qatar. I put China a level above the MLS becos the quality of their designated players is not up 4 debate. All the talk about China being a retirement league is bad belle coming from England who can't believe a player would elect to go somewhere else instead of the Epl. I would even like to watch and see if Oscar can carry his own team. |

terzurum5:abeg this January should do and come make Mikel find him way, I'm tired of all these speculations The fact that Oscar us going to China disturbs me as well, much too young and good for such a move |

BascoVanVeli:but how do these Chinese leagues makes money that will make them to squander €650k per week on Oscar.. no be only their citizens and some Asians dey patronize them... even big clubs like Madrid can't boast of such weekly pay... do they even keep their words on contract? |

terzurum5:I'm probably closer to home than you in the past four months I have spent about 5 weeks in Nigeria on two different trips. I know about Nigerian football and know a huge amount of Nigerian footballers not just capped players for Nigeria. Okaka was born in Italy it means unlike Nigeria his birth is data substantiated and impossible to falsify. So I can say without any doubt that that's his true age. It doesn't mean that every body else is lying just not verifiable with the same certainty. We all know that age falsification is a problem in Africa not just Nigeria. Craig Bellamy former Liverpool player (not hearsay) explained to me a quite a few years ago he would have preferred to open a football academy in Nigeria. But the issues of age cheating as well as our desire to fleece him and obtain him. Made him go to Sierra Leone instead. He has invested in excess of a million pounds in that venture. If your brother got wrongly accused of being over age it's a reflection of our flawed system. We have no substantiated data collection of birth dates in Nigeria. So you are a victim of a flawed system as well. When John Fashanu came to Manchester with the Nigeria All Stars U18 team he met a boy who was U16 and over 6ft. He refused to believe his age outright he was openly vocal about it. When I explained he was born in the UK and offered to show him his British passport he immediately conceded. Does that make Fashanu a typical Nigerian that sees no good about Nigeria like me as you have proposed ![]() |

krattoss:The clubs are owned by some big companies, China is on top of the food chain right now. €650 is for Tevez if he signs, Oscar is around that kind €500. I am certain they will pay their players. China has been a money grabbing spot for years, NBA players also go there and make alot of money. |

terzurum5:The Cycle repeats itself again. The Greed of those around Mikel and maybe Mikel robbed the World of the chance of watching one of football's greatest artist paint masterpieces on the pitch. The love of Money over Football made Mikel not play his Natural role in a team that suited his abilities. Now the cycle is repeating and the same issue seems to take away his opportunity of showing the footballing World what he can do. Money rules when it concerns Mikel. Not the art of football. |

daveP:Ajiboye can't be 25. Before he played at the U17 2007 WC, he was already married with a kid. His wife was a footballer who tried out with the then falconets under coach Felix Ibeukwu. Dele got married in early 2004, you can take it to the bank. |
