Couldn't secure Masters admission with my grade in the university I applied.

Ok. Consider many university and PGC in colleges. Ensure the course is related to your UG course or years of experience. Not Bsc pls.

You are welcome.

I just checked. They deducted #24,498.50 for 100CAD.

Thank you. I thought you use access $200 limit. I am interested in the access bank charge.

Hi TemitopeJ16. We are in the same shoes. Applied Oct 13 for PGC at GBC. No update from CIC. Its like PGC applicants(Paper route) are been placed on hold. I have not witnessed a trv refusal or testimony for PGC winter on this thread. The closest I have seen is a PGD. Please be patient cos I believe VO is thorough with our application. Let's still be hopeful. Cheers!

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 11 by Nobody: 5:49pm On Dec 27, 2016
Hello All. Thanks so much for all the enlightening help here. I have a few questions please:

1. Is the TRV province or school specific? Can I get my TRV using an admission letter but go to another school in another province when I arriva Canada?

2. I would like to apply with my son (about 6 years old) - is there a disadvantage to this? Would it be better I get my visa first and apply for him later or would i be disadvantaged if I do them together. I have two other kids who I don't plan to take along.

3. If a Masters course id done partly online but is a full time course, would it qualify for a post graduate work certificate still? Part of the course is on campus but the rest of online

Thanks so much for your advice

I applied to four schools and I used both GTBank debit card and Access Bank debit card to pay. What I quoted is for the Access Bank. I used the access debit card to pay for two schools @ 100CAD each and GTBank to pay for one school while UBC was free. Hope you get the breakdown now?

Ok. Thanks for the breakdown. Using the access card, Did you apply to the two schools on the same day?

By the way, we will have some thing in common, 4 schools including UBC. grin

Hi house ,please,I need ur urgent advice !
I got admission from Niagara College,ON to study Critical Care Nursing this year, to resume by Sept '16 but I deffered it to Jan'17 because I was unable to pay my tuition fee due to No form A blablabla from banks and I was told by the school that if I mistakenly refuse to resume by Jan'17 with intention of resuming by May'17,i would have to pay another $500 CAD undecided (application fee).
The issue now is,I applied online on 24th Sept, had biometrics done on 28th September'16 and since then, till now, nothing has been heard from CIC but just " Thanks for being patient" of which I sent a mail to Accra and I was told my application was on queue pending processing.
I discussed with an agent today, though, I applied online by myself. And the agent told me that I can get a Lawyer who will assist me in sending a mail/ letter to the school, then school gets in touch with CIC which could make the processing faster.
My main questions are:
1. How appropriate is it to send a letter from a lawyer to the school?
2. Do u think school has any "say" about VISA processing
3. What's d probability that if school interferes,my visa application will be processed faster.
4.School resumes on 9th,Jan '17.Is there still hope for me? NOTE: No medical examination been done ooo
Thanks so much!

1.If the sole purpose of getting the lawyer is to talk to your school about your possible resumption other than jan '17, well, you can discus any likelihood with the lawyer first but i believe generally, schools deal directly with students and authorized representatives. So you can get further advise from both parties.Other than this, i doubt schools will influence a study permit process with CIC.
2.Sequel to d later part of ans 1, Schools DO NOT have a say in decisions on study permit application. They can only provide relevant documentation (acceptance letter, fees schedules, schoolarship letters etc) to aid your application as study permit application have a different circumstance and situation surrounding an applicant's case which is not same with admission to study.
3. Already answered.
4.Anything is possible.
Best regards.

Hello Guys, I am trying to apply online for a Canadian Visitor visa. I was using one questionnaire steps on cic website and it said total fees would b $185, is it correct? Do I need to show bank statement or invitation letter from who I am going to visit? I am currently in the US right now. Any guidelines will be helpful.

What is confusing there? Since you applied, I don't think there is much change you can do to it.
Least thing you want to do is what you are doing. Just share your worries as questions and let people help you.
