jamson: Abeg, me sef no get title o.. I dey on a low key. To buttress your point, na so o.. Many things can happen in 4 months.. See as Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering stroll enter pro-rata.. If assessment no get fast track, man for no stand chance for this program year anymore.... Just an example... Also, ceiling can get filled... Occupation can vanish from SOL before the next program year... Many considerations bro.. Too many variables.. |

Bnimz and Mamajaz, The king has abdicated his throne, it is left for the kingmakers to crown his successor.....na joke I dey oooooo Damoche64, If I understand your intentions well enough, you want to go solo for cost sake. No issue with that, you still have to declare you are married but indicate that you are not migrating with your dependents in the current visa application. However, it is good you do a once and for all time visa payment for you and your wife (and pikins if dem dey) as this is more cost effective on the long term as compared to going later to file for your spouse after you might have settled down. Please see the skillselect site for your options. |

@Jamson How far bros, hope you have lodge your application. All the best and am waiting for your testimony soon. Am waiting for my ITA too. To all gurus, Please, i need clarification with this statement "You should provide high quality colour scans of the documents supporting your visa application in ImmiAccount." found on https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/189-/Skilled-Independent-visa-(subclass-189)-document-checklist# I was looking for information on documents required for the visa application so as to safe time after getting ITA. My question now is, Is it coloured scanned that is needed or Certified True Copy (CTC) of photocopy documents. |

@ Sunvick, I am not thinking of making any false or give inaccurate info. but there must a way to exclude family 4 now. Let me break it down, i will spend minimum of 7200 4 visa only & some other expenses is still there. I need 2 get the cost right before starting the process. Anyway thanks for your advice. quote author=sunvick post=52309718]Chief it will be best you present original documents and fill out accurate information to avoid complicating issues for yourself in the near future. Firstly, its not possible to claim experience point with DIPB while your assessment result will indicate no work experience, moreover, the assessment result from EA will be uploaded on DIPB portal. You just cant lie about. Try and save your self from been disqualified or even banned completely. If you apply as single person now and get the visa, you will still be caught up when you will want to invite your wife over, giving the inconsistent dates e.g ( date in marriage cert, date you made your DIPB application, personal info saying you are single while you were married). DIPB can cancel already issued PR on the basis of providing false information. Just my 2 centimeter opinion. Other Oga's will provide better info. [/quote] |

damoche64: You can exclude them for now. You'll declare them as non-migrating dependent family members. HOWEVER.... it will only save you the visa fee... Medicals must be done for every DEPENDENT family member... I know cos on expatforum one guy mistakenly wrote his parents and sisters as dependent relatives and CO asked him to produce their medicals... 3 Likes 1 Share |

Bnimz: What is your specifications I get them plenty, can dash you one. @Damoche64, If you have the experience, to avoid complicating issues, just assess it. Though it is possible to assess without assessing your experience but you wouldn't declare you have no experience. As per your wife and children, the best bet is to look for the money and get it done with. Spouse visa takes time and you may end up regretting not applying together. In addition, I don't support leaving family behind. Where the snail goes, the shell must follow. What God has joined together, let no DIBP or application fee put a temporary separation. May financial doors be opened unto you. Goodluck not Jonathan ooo.. @Bumpypat, How old are you? You can't go with her as a dependent even when it was permitted as you are now an adult.. Engineers have it very easy compared to other occupations. Start your own process now and let your sister carry her own cross. 2 Likes |

@Desxter, Start from page 0, read it and follow the steps. It is very easy. I don't know the best way to simplify it than it already is. To give it a try, summary is Write English test... IELTS or TOEFL Check Engineer Australia's website for template on writing a CDR. Write yours for assessment.. If you get positive assessment, fill the Expression of interest on DIBP website and wait for invitation. This should simplify whatever you read on front page. 3 Likes |

Hello all, Please, I'd like to get some clarity concerning an issue that has been bothering my mind. I'm currently awaiting my assessment outcome. However, while applying for the assessment, I only presented my bachelor's degree and was silent about my masters (not even on my cv or cpd). I did this for two reasons. 1. I saw somewhere in EA msa booklet where it is stated that they only accept ORIGINAL degree certificates, meanwhile I only have statement of result for now. 2. I felt that since both bachelor & masters will attract equal points, then, including the masters in the application may not matter afterall. Now to my question; I'd like to know if I can include the masters degree in my EOI and subsequently, visa application, knowing that DIBP accepts statement of result. Thanks for your anticipated advice. |

bolaobby: My broses in this Aussie hustle, yes I know the Visa fees are high. But one of my guys wey pass thru this hustle and is currently in Melbourne told me that they have an biometric capturing office at Ikeja and that he paid his visa fees in Naira. Just want to confirm from the godfathers on this thread. Can we pay this money in naira (and tell Mallam Audu to go to hell ) or must it be in foreign currency? Imagine sourcing for $6,000 Please advise |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Bnimz(m): 7:16am On Dec 28, 2016 |
yoctek: I included my masters, and I never finish am yet. At the time I submitted only a partial transcript containing first semester results sef... Nobody complained, so, yes, you for include am... However,, nothing spoil at all... Putting it in your EOI is fine.. E no concern anybody either way since it doesn't add points... In this process it just pays to be consistent so that if something crops up, one can fully defend it. That is all.. |
