I received my phone from geekbuying since last week it will not be fair on my part if I don't inform the house because I was not patient though and I had somehow rubbish them here.

@grandmufti thanks for your support the other I had a call issue with my phone. My discovery with the phone so far is phone doesn't receive call or end call on 2G mode it does initially when the phone is switched on but later on, call comes in you swipe the answer call and the ringtone goes silence but call not pick likewise for ending.

Although I don't use a 4G Sim, reverse is the case when I set network on LTE or 3G mode. I can pick calls and end calls with my phone. That has been my ordeal so far.

Any idea phone gurus?

Most likely a bug. But you can also use the power button to end calls.

I do not want to recommend a factory reset as the redmi 4 series has a lot of bug reports.

You phone is fine, CPU Z is an app that details the hardware specification of your phone, Processor, Ram, Storage, Sensors, Battery capacity, screen resolution and a lot more finer details..

Its always advisable to check out the specification of the phone you intend to buy before heading to the market..
Here is a good site, a lot more detailed than gsmarena IMO..

You are on vendor rom and not stock rom. You need to flash the stock rom to be able to receive updates

Follow the link below. Please read thoroughly before beginning, the procedure is easy.

I have never done any of the above after each update including the current update to MM.

Any implications?

You don't need cm recovery. Backup your files on your phone and transfer to your laptop. Factory reset is necessary after every update, not just on xiaomi.

At the very least you should clear the system cache for your Android after installing a firmware. This is the quickest and easiest way to clear up any early battery drain bugs and performance issues.

Morning Guys, abeg i need help in deciding which Xiaomi to buy btw Redmi 4 Prime/Redmi note 4/Redmi Note 3 or Pro version. Goin for the 3GB Variant, just a little confuse about which to buy. Would have gone for Redmi 4 prime but the screen size is 5.0 would have preferred 5.5". The redmi note 4 only has the MTK version. Pls anybody familiar with this phones should assist.
