Congrats dear.

Flew Turkish.. long flight .. too stressful for me oo. Was getting up to peee every second. But luckily for me I picked an aisle seat, so individual get up easily.

Finally got to Houston after a 12:30 Hour flight, and the immigration officer sent me to secondary inspection when I tried to tell him the breakdown of the money I have. Cash, card and Moneygram. Guess i wasn't convincing enough for him. Won't blame me, I was exhausted from the flight. I had proof for all these monies ooo, but was sha sent to sec inspection. And since this is my second child...I even had receipts of previous payments, i even have the receipts of the pathology tests for baby and i for 2014 when I was here Anyways, was der for over 2 hours before I was called...as many people were also der. The office asked how much I needed for everything...if I had prepaid, said no, but I have enough money for all and even my previous receipts. He said ok...and that I should make sure I always have my receipts whenever I'm coming to the US, just incase I'm asked. And that was it.

However, by the time I was done with this..I already missed my connecting flight to El Paso. Saw my luggage somewhere...just dropped anyhow...but was thankful I even saw it.

Went to United stand...was lucky to have met a lady who told me next flight was for the next day by 3:45pm...this was around 11pm oo.. I first cried before accepting fate and then tried to find a solution to my problem.

I already booked a hotel ooo and they were /are to charge me $40 for not showing which was annoying customer it Wasn't my fault I was delayed and missed my flight..

I was rebooked for the 3:45pm flight...and given a no to call traviallance for discounted prices of hotels around...
Luckily again..another Lady who had been delayed for 7 good hours also missed her flight to London (not a Nigerian not preggy, she's from Guadamala) so we called together and decided to share a room in the hotel we got tru to and we got free airport pickup and drip6 off. And had free breakfast too.

So a positive here..is i made a new friend.

We shared the bill...and had a nice time in the hotel.

Fast forward flew to El paso...just 1 hour flight...got here.. forgot El Paso is 2 hour ahead of Houston, was worried sick about not meeting up with the closing time of 7pm cuz i arrived around to 6...which was actually to 5 el paso time.

Booked an uber ride (cuz regukar taxi was gkbba charge $25 or so, but uber showed appreciate $10) but wasn't coming forth....had to use a policy officer's phone to call intown.....long story short.. The user driver was so nice...he reminded me that el paso is one hour ahead...so i still had time....cuz i was close to going to another hotel...which would have been more expensive.

My story is long abi Well such is life oo. Anyways, 1 wise thing I did was to buy a meal at the airport, cuz i was starving and intown suites has no food for anyone ooo. If not, maybe my enemy would have fainted from all the stress I had been tru....with my belle.

Still resting ...but def jetlaged.

Heard some Nigerians are here at intown...will look for them soon. And if anyone of them is here, I'm in room 229 oo..hungry and no breakfast to eat.. lol.

In all I give thanks to God for ALWAYS making a way even when all hope looks lost.

I hope someone learns from my experience.
Cheers!

Hi all, so I flew british Airways on the 24th of December to Elpaso through dallas. I made it a point to come and give back as I didn't last year. Got carried away and overwhelmed with motherhood then when I came in June to have my baby girl. Journey then was also to Elpaso with klm through dallas.
So, I got to dallas on Christmas day, used the automated check in counter and declared dairy product cause I had peak 123. Went to the cbp officer and he asked what I was here for. Told him vacation and childbirth. Asked how much I had, told him. Next he scribbles something on my paper and tells me I will explain in details to the officer he will be passing me on to. I travelled with my 18 month old by the way. Was first of all directed to agriculture, they scanned my bags n let me go without searching it. Then directed me to another officer who asked y I was sent to him. The agricultural guy was like, he guesses the officer felt I needed a little more attention. Note, I wasn't sent to any room, it was just another counter. The guy asked for my zero balance, and doctors correspondence, counted my money, and said you are good to go. Merry Christmas. All this took about 10 minutes in all. Trying to settle down now. Igetam, how far Na.

Depending on your exact location in Katy there is a park and ride close to energy corridor.
If you dont mind From there you can ride the metro bus downtown Houston and back.
I hope this helps.

September 2016.

Did you mention that you are self-pay?

Physicians coordinate healthcare in the US. It is best you speak with your physician to give you a breakdown of his fee and the hospital fee.

Thanks.

Yeah I mentioned that it's self pay. I went on to ask her if there was a recent price increase, she said she cannot say anything about that but that this is the price (quite rude) undecided

I'll call again in the new year. I suspect that she has added epidural to the fee.

She may be giving you a very incorrect information. Some of these front desk guys are incompetent. Speak with your physician

Good concept no doubt. Stolen concept tho.
Its like when you open a provision shop on a street and suddenly every house on the street has a provision shop.
Let's hope they maintain the status.
