Nahdeh:all health related courses require a credit in biology... Maybe geology and computer science doesn't but I would have to consult the jamb brochure first, you should do same Why not retake your O'levels? |

MADUKAMARTIN:Basically, college of medicine courses like physiology, biochemistry physiotherapy, med. lab science and also pharmacy and chemistry. just attain a high cgpa BTW 5.6-7.0. However it depends if u would be allowed by ur dept and also by d department ur crossing to I.e mbbs 1 Like |

derrick015: Only students from the faculty of basic medical sciences or faculty of public health. Departments that are under those faculties include : biochemistry, physiology and human nutrition. Students from other departments are not allowed to cross to either medicine, dentistry or dentistry 1 Like |

Hey guys.. I'd really appreciate if someone helps with this A friend of mine wants to study gynecology in uniport The problem is I dunno if people just study the course by applying through jamb Or if it's an option under mbbs |

chykeJ:Gynaecology is an area of specialization in the field of Medicine. Your friend will have to study MBBS first. It is then after medical school that he can go for a residency programme in Gynaecology (usually Obstetrics and Gynaecology). Passing primaries(exam that qualifies one for residency) is a prerequisite for residency training. 4 Likes |
