Biology can be used in place of agriculture, but never the other way round... I suggest you rush to schools close to you once they resume on the 9th, hopefully some of them hasn't done there online reg yet. If none is available then apply for neco or GCE(I hear its now twice a year)
tnx for the reply.
Are there any other science courses relating to medecine i can go for without my biology.
Can i be accepted for pharmacy?

Agricultural science can't be used to replace Biology when Human Medicine is what u applied for.. Only do that when the course chosen is Agric itself. Just take a fresh waec form, choose a school with late admission process, use awaiting result and hope u clear all the subjects
thanks for this

Good evening everyone.

Straight to the point. In all my years of med school, I must say this is the only place I've both been appreciated for my efforts into ensuring we all succeed. One would assume that the medical students in my school would be primary beneficiaries, but that's story for another day.

Some weeks ago, I discovered some textbooks in Internal Medicine and Surgery that will certainly make your journey in Clinicals very easy. They're very straight to the point and contain relevant details that will be required of you. This would be the only place I will give those books to anyone.

Send me a pm using your mail to request for them, and I'll forward it to those interested.

all health related courses require a credit in biology... Maybe geology and computer science doesn't but I would have to consult the jamb brochure first, you should do same

Why not retake your O'levels?

Only students from the faculty of basic medical sciences or faculty of public health.

Departments that are under those faculties include : biochemistry, physiology and human nutrition.

Students from other departments are not allowed to cross to either medicine, dentistry or dentistry

Hey guys..
I'd really appreciate if someone helps with this
A friend of mine wants to study gynecology in uniport
The problem is I dunno if people just study the course by applying through jamb
Or if it's an option under mbbs

Gynaecology is an area of specialization in the field of Medicine. Your friend will have to study MBBS first. It is then after medical school that he can go for a residency programme in Gynaecology (usually Obstetrics and Gynaecology). Passing primaries(exam that qualifies one for residency) is a prerequisite for residency training.
