Sibrah:They cannot continue taking offering for these projects because they are completed projects. Is it even sensible to keep requesting funds for a project that is over a decade now? CU and LU collect school fee (which is not cheap compared to public universities), the church has a bakery, a water company, a publishing company and generates revenue through rent/sale of shops and land within the church complex at Ota, aviation services, all the church branches remit 10% of their monthly income to the HQ.......and you say this huge fund is used for what exactly again? |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Sibrah: 9:56pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
fatdick:You make me laugh. CU & LU completed? Oya I agree now . . . but this ur username get as e be o. Fat dìck connotes lots of blood leaving ur brain to reside in ur dick. |

Sibrah:Covenant university is owned by Oyedepo and church, and its the most guilty of them all. The school is the most expensive, so expensive the church members themselves can't afford it. Why should his followers pay to learn is a university built with their tithe and offering money? |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by fatdick(m): 10:11pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Sibrah:Are you asking me like you're blind or something? Do you know how we spot the half-baked, sophomoric & myopic students? When they encounter a superior argument, they resort to insults. So much for a CU student......I won't be so petty to engage you with insultive words. Next time, before you post a distorted fact on a public forum as this, use your brain and don't just assume every1 will swallow your dirty opinion. Run along now boy! |

fatdick:I won't derail the thread just yet. I let ur insults slide for now. . . |

musicwriter:Why do Federal uni students pay tuition in universities built with their tax? Tax that's forcefully collected as against tithes and offering voluntarily paid. Think bro . . . |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by musicwriter(m): 10:46pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Sibrah:Churches are non-profit organization. They're registered not to run a profit oriented business. |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Sibrah: 10:51pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
musicwriter:Can u prove the above? Not all unis are profit making unis. Stop assuming what u don't know bros. Even fed uni that gets taxpayers fund make more profit than the 'expensive' private unis who make profit . . . |

musicwriter:you should have noticed by now that the dude is operating on a 'GIGO' basis. He is just pouring out what has been fed into their heads at school. You're trying to teach him common sense but their brains have been occupied with garbage. Though I attend Winners Chapel periodically, I am against this level of brainwash. Free the dude abeg |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Nobody: 10:59pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
fatdick:Why are you crying more than the bereaved? Did anybody forces you to attend CU or LU? If you ate this pained, start your own university or hug the next energised transformer! Did anyone at Winners complained to you? Is you 10% at winners? Why are you whining online like a wailer or flat-head? Which one are you? |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Sibrah: 10:59pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
fatdick:Point out the garbage let's help you with what your brain can't comprehend. Where does the profit goes to? |

musicwriter:Did anybody at Winners complain to you? Why are crying more than the bereaved? Who told you the Church members cannot afford it, maybe you should come on sight seeing to the church one of these days. Your poverty-stricken life is a plague that has been worrying your generation for long |

divicoded:A brainwashed person has lost the power to understand he/she is being exploited, so its understandable, if the church members are not complaining. And, I' am not complaining either, rather, I' am asking a question. Why should the church members pay to learn in a school built with their tithes and offering money? This's the question I need answer to, not your insult. |

They said: ‘This church is church of God and we are accountable to God.’ And I told them: ‘Very good, so you must take this church to heaven, you can’t operate it here.” ![]() |

Sibrah:I' am not assuming. I know for a fact covenant university not only charge fees, but is expensive. I once made inquiries there for admission of two of my sisters. |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Sibrah: 11:22pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
musicwriter:Bros, the term 'expensive' is a relative term open to many interpretation but does not prove profit is being made. Stop assuming things i repeat. |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by musicwriter(m): 11:27pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
Sibrah:You continue being evasive as you have no defense for your GOs or church. Being expensive is not even the question. Again, I'll like to know; why should church members pay to learn in a school built with their tithes and offering money? This's the question I need an answer to. |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by Sibrah: 11:29pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
musicwriter:Where did you get the info that tithe and offering is used to build schools or uni |

fatdick:While I sympathise with you on your official attainment of stu#pidity, I could not but wonder how poverty must have ravaged your generations, that is obviously why you are blaming Oyedepo as the cause of your misfortune! I really feel fir you but it seems there can't be any remedy for you! What a wasted life |

Sibrah:Where did your GO get money to build a university? Where did your GO get money to build churches everywhere? Where did your GO get money to buy an aircraft? How does your GO make money? How wealthy was your GO when he opened his first church? |
| Re: Nigerian Churches & Financial Reporting Council (FRC) by fatdick(m): 11:34pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
divicoded:I have given more tithes and offering in Winners Chapel than your entire lineage can ever give in a lifetime. Yet, I insist that all religious organizations must pay tax on their commercial ventures. God cannot be mocked. |
