This topic is not about Oyedepo, but about churches.

Answer the question raised.

Start your own Church son! Is anybody complaining to you? Why are this pained?' Is Oyedepo the cause of your misfortune and poverty stricken generations
It is so unfortunate that people would view this thread and have a wrong perception of Winners' members.......you are supposed to be on a 21 days fasting, sober and meek......yet you are here acting exactly as a deranged pig would. Are you fighting for God or Oyedepo? Funny thing is people like you barely even contribute anything to the church. You are a nuisance Sir!

How will poverty allow you to pay tithes, that must have been in your dream, keep dreaming son
As for taxes, it is a wishful thinking wish you hope you and your Otuoke principal hope to steal. Jobless son, I am off to bed
Matthew 17:24-27 Jesus paid tax

Romans 13:1-7 (NIRV)
1 All of you must obey those who rule over you. There are no authorities except the ones God has chosen. Those who now rule have been chosen by God. 2 So whoever opposes the authorities opposes leaders whom God has appointed. Those who do that will be judged. 3 If you do what is right, you won’t need to be afraid of your rulers. But watch out if you do what is wrong! You don’t want to be afraid of those in authority, do you? Then do what is right, and you will be praised. 4 The one in authority serves God for your good. But if you do wrong, watch out! Rulers don’t carry a sword for no reason at all. They serve God. And God is carrying out his anger through them. The ruler punishes anyone who does wrong. 5 You must obey the authorities. Then you will not be punished. You must also obey them because you know it is right.

6 That’s also why you pay taxes. The authorities serve God. Ruling takes up all their time. 7 Give to everyone what you owe them. Do you owe taxes? Then pay them. Do you owe anything else to the government? Then pay it. Do you owe respect? Then give it. Do you owe honor? Then show it.

1 Peter 2:14 Obey those in authority

The problem some Christians have these days is that they have chosen to follow the words of their pastors and ignored the Word of God.

You are an unrepentant FOOL Mr.
While everything you quoted is totally irrelevant and rvbbish at this instance because your accomplish, Jim Obazee has been removed as he is a servant of the devil, I am a bit confused if you are also not one
For referring to me as a fool, I am sure you should have compared me with your father because i am his mate.
So if you have nothing sensible to say, why say it here?

So because I am on 21 days fasting, I should be steupid even if you are? Is that the definition of fasting in your church?

He lied. Some of these people just follow piblic gossip from sites like this your Nairaland.

The tax authorities are all over the place.

They even ensure that church staff pay tax, talkless of church owned companies. Some CE churches even received court summons but that has since been taken care of.

So even church staff of CE pay tax. Funny enough I know of a CE church that argued that thier staff are working for God as volounteers but these tax guys wouldnt back down, especially after seeing the correct staff-owned cars parked in the parking lot. grin
just go straight to the point and give the evidence of the Tax paid by your own church at least. Leave the other churches. In 2014/ and 2015/2016 financial year,How much tax did your church pay and to which Tax authority? If you don't also mind give us the name of the person or office that handles tax issues for your church.

If the orthodox churches and mosques with their profit-oriented businesses are complying, why are the Pentecostals being stubborn? undecided

You want him to pick up another argument with you this morning? Are you jobless? It's not as if you have made any valid point in any of your post, all you do is keeping hurling insults at whoever does not support your argument.

OK, is it possible for churches to collect any offerings for a month, and let's see what happens.... grin

These silly people who can't question religious backed killings, child marriage, or terrorism are trying to interpret God's will for Christians to Christians. The main question here should be is the Church owned school making profits or not?

As for the arguement of children of members attending the school for free since they pay tithes, offering and other seeds, it is a flawed arguement too. It may be a popular arguement among ignorant Christians.
