You used the wrong examples...they are leaders who make the rules, and can break them.

And if I wanted to work for them, my hair better be in order...as should be my dress too.

Real life is not fair.

All those dress and hair codes...they are to prep you for the real world...where such things are in force. If you were to join the military and paramilitary forces (yes, I know university graduates who went into the Armed Forces )...and if you were to work for certain factories, and certain professions.....eg medicine....how your hair looks is very important.
This is Dr Ben Carson with full grown hair

For you to think that there's a correlation between decency and hair length, there must be something fundamentally wrong with you.

If they don't like it transfer. I love my box to much to get fade again. I wouldn't go to school with stupid rule like that besides what is the ranking of this school that anyone would put up with this?
what would you do if Your parents insisted? Money talks unless you no wan go school and be doomed to low paying jobs. Na situation make crayfish bend

For you think you know more than the school that insisted on low hair cut.
I do hate statements like this, so because they are a school, their opinions and abuse on personal right can't be questioned, U must have a low complex of yourself, is it not human beings like me and you in the school that makes these decisions, but Mr. Bomb, 39 from Okoko thinks, compelling uni students to cut hair is a school standard set by Nobel laureates, last last we go dey alright sha

This thing is not hard. If you cannot abide by the rules please transfer to another school. Covenant doesn't allow the use of mobile phones yet people are fighting and aspiring to be in the school. Every school has its rules... If you cannot cope it's not by force LEAVE!
Fighting and aspiring, where?? I don't seem to understand, in this same recession I meet myself

That's their issue. If they dont want that learn trade, find work or join millitary. I live in USA these are options. In Nigeria I don't think life is that easy for them.

Sir how would we explain this statement to the society?

If you were an interviewer and i came for a job interview with dreadlocks, how would you look at me?

Personally i have a long hair and people view me as indecent. How can i convince them not to.

P.S I liked your statement though.

Meanwhile in the real world, companies, organizations and the Armed Forces have dress and hair codes.

Or would you like your doctor, banker or lawyer to see you with their hair unkempt.
That was not his point.

Your sense of decency shouldn't be based on what people say.
