Moral corruption is found among all son of adam, but to posit that the corruption in d catholic church is worst is untrue and without substance. there is corruption even in d church but generally i have found d catholic church to be self correcting and corruption less.

It is the mother of all corruption I emphatically repeat, all other sects and new orders are learning from the masters (the Catholics) the only difference is that the structure of the catholic church was built by very smart white men, they do some good in the open but covertly rake in all the money without raising eyebrows. But trust blackmen, since indigenous priests started heading dioceses and orders, the corruption has multiplied.

I finished from the most Illustrious minor Seminary in Nigeria, somewhere in the west (Makes you all seminarians, who were not privilege to attend green with envy) and proceeded to the best major seminary (were the show is been run by the people from my almer mater), I could not live the kind of live that they where living in this institutions, preach A and do B. No, I was not going to leave a live of deceit and pretense because my mother wanted to have a priest in the family. I left after some years even after several interventions and attempts to stop me from doing by big priests in the dioceses whom my mum ran to. The catholic church is very very very very dirty! Even if it kills you, what is, is, and I am gonna say that to you!

I was actually staying in the Bishops court when I was on holidays as a minor seminarian..It was compulsory for every minor seminarian to spend weeks in the parish house during a break.

Back to the matter, You be yeye Alter boy! Ubenedictus may actually be a seminarian or an ex its evident in the way he talks but you? You are a poor wannabe. How can you say the Priests check the Bishops? What? Do you know who a Bishop is in the church??

The Bishop uses the funds of the church as he likes, he gives every church a target for never ending projects even projects as frivolous as his birthday. Go find out if the account of any catholic dioceses has ever been audited or if the church goers know how much there dioceses is truly worth.

Is the diocese run like a business that it is been audited and breakdown given to parish?
if u are a part of ur diocese finance team, u will know where what goes into.

The Bishop steals/takes the diocese funds as he wishes, he accounts to NOBODY!

dioceses are normally largely independent esp financially. that usually means the bishop is the highest authority especially when it comes to spending, even at that he can't steal anyhow, any personal asset a cleric acquires revert back to the church when he dies, and a bishop can be check if he is financially irresponsible, any priest or member of d finance council is suppose to caution him and then report to rome if the issues continue unabated.

the above hardly happens because it is hard for a bishop to steal church money, where will he put it? it will ultimately revert back to d church.

give me 10 catholic diocese where d priests aren't paid, the truth is that the protestant churches do not have d organisation of d catholic church. there is always a higher authority and organisational brilliance that checks excesses.

I hear u, but it is easier to claim than to prove. in this case we have clerics who havent been paid rioting...the catholic church usually satisfies her reponsibilities.

I can get you more details of needed. There are churches with about 20 members in remote area of the diocese that are asked to pay close to 2 million yearly or the priest will face the wrath of his lordship
