University Of Abuja Girls Hostel Was Burnt Down. by princealexndre(op): 7:42am On Jan 15, 2017

Alarm was raised from the girls hostel around 1;45am. The fire started started as a result of fire sparks from an electric wire. It took a handful of boys to quench the fire, before the fire fighter came to intervene. Thank God no life was lost.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to all the girls residing in the burnt building for the trauma they must have past through while the building was burning & most especially those that would have lost their properties to the fire. Thank God no life was lost.

I dey o....na my Unit the hostel even burn. Just across my room.

Started few minutes past 1 and by the time it was over by 2;30 or so, three rooms were terribly burnt and a fourth was destroyed. The roof even caved in.

We still dey try sleep the sleep wey the fire deny us
