Man wickedness to man. 99.9% of death worldwide are caused by men, it's a pity.

I don't see any reason why African countries have decided to cause destruction in Gambia just because their president has refused to step down.

The easiest thing is to infiltrate President Yayeh Jammeh security team so they assassinate him and not start bombing arbitrarily.

Don't anticipate the dance style before the music starts playing.

There are still several days to the deadline. Jammeh might well be in exile in nigeria by Tuesday night. And if not...well this is not the 60's warfare is far more surgical now. All they need is the radio and television station. And even these can now fit into a suitcase.

people are blaming Jammeh forgetting he is a muslim doing allahs will

What are you? what is wrong with you? Why are you just always quick to find something against Muslims? What has him being a muslim got to do with this? Was Idi Amin a muslim? Is Mugabe a muslim? Was Charles Taylor a muslim? Did people write that they are doing Jesus's will?

Dude! the internet allows one to voice out opinions anonymously but these opinions should be reasonable and sensible. I won't be surprise if you are a kid.

I am more concerned about the innocent citizens. see how they are all fleeing the country..

even if ecowas decides to use force, there will always be soldiers loyal to Jammeh to the end. 2ndly his despotic friends abroad will certainly give him more arms to fight. you know what that means...

we don't need this in W/Africa again.
Most of the generals will defect immediately ecowas troop enters Gambia. Most of them don't actually like Jammeh but they are worried about the outcome of the whole situation
It must be ecowas flight if you want it to avoid civil war because it's certain Jammeh has his own supporters as well so it must not be Borrow vs Jammeh
About the innocent citizens, they have no choice! some of them we pay with their lives and that is why the wise ones are leaving

It's not easy to accept defeat, people insulting GEJ should just thank God for a gentle man like him. Let us for once refuse to follow the general consensus. What if jameeh is right that the election is rigged? What is the way out? Why are the other leaders shutting him out without a fair hearing? The solution is not always war. What the ecowas leaders should do is to give everybody fair hearing...1) by helping the tiny nation with judges that can speedily hear their cases at the supreme court. 2) if need be, reorganize the election under strict reviews monitoring. The guy also deserved a fair hearing and there is a reason why electoral disputes are taken to court. What we are all saying is that he couldn't ever win. The electoral body is not infallible so the rule of law should be allowed to prevail not force
Bro the law is clear on this. You can't keep your seat after losing a contest. The handover date is sacrosanct. He has the right to contest the outcome of the election in court so he must step aside pending the determination of his suit. Have you not seen incumbents lose election in this country and still contest the outcome. Imo state in 2011 and Kogi state in 2016

Don't be a Fool! The white men plot his removal, rig the elections for their selfish gains, He later finds out and refused to step down and call for a fresh election. Now the whites are masking behind some African leaders to bully him out. Is that fair and justifiable? Never trust the Whites

that pic is fake news, that is the daily ferry from banjul to barra, and it's the most popular trade route btw gambia and Senegal. it's most likely the 7:00am ferry wh is always full. for years that's how full that ferry usually is. the same pic backwards repeats itself daily at 6:00 pm.
someone is trying to whip up public sentiments without knowing the real truth.
I live in the gambian tourist area of kololi, and I can categorically tell you that a plane load of tourists arrived yesterday, all the news u hear are fake.
the only true thing we agree on is jammeh leaving on Thursday!

Another opportunity for them to head to Europe. Instead of the Europeans to tell them to fight for their country as they (Europeans )did in the years past .

Nobody will fix Gambia except Gambians. Stay and die so your children will live.

He had a choice.

He had access to $30b, a fully-armed militia in the SS, and a fractured military.

He may have died, but the destruction Nigeria would have seen would have been the worst in West Africa's known history. West and East Africa would have felt the pangs of a refugee crises that would make Syria's case sound like child's play.

And God forbid he died in the seat. Nigeria would never have survived the civil war that'd enshew between North+SW versus SS/SE and the complete shut down of the oil industry in the SS.

Take it from me, if Jonathan had not conceded in 2015, Nigeria as you know it would have ended. You'd probably be in a refugee camp in Benin republic or Togo or even in this Gambia you may want to mock.

The whites are smarter than you think. They will sabotage your efforts and turn your people against you for their selfish gains. Libya and Iraq are examples till date. Has there been peace in libya after Gaddafi's death? You see

There are laid down CONSTITUTIONAL procedures for such an aggrieved candidate after an election result has been announced,if he has grievances against the election then he should take recourse in the law courts as legality demands that he should FIRST stand down..
So,if Jonathan had issues with our elections he should have in your opinion refused to step down no matter the consequences..
