When you have a CDMA Blackberry and you are using it with a sim card ;BOLD 5-9930-SPRINT, Storm, Tour, Storm2 etc you will sometimes have an error on your screen saying Service Required or Activation Required. To remove this Error Message do the following:

1. On the main screen of the phone, press ##000000 OR ##111111
2. For the Mobile Directory Number, put in your phone number in there.
3. After you have done that, press the menu button to save the options and the phone will automatically restart

Abduletudaye:
Uncle sam, i have this sprint 9930 that doesnt work with the above codes coz i believe they all work fine on verizon.. If i enter the above codes more than 4 times, the device resets automatically.

Please help, as i need to change the phone number on it..
