Another UNIOSUN Student Dies Today, Students Block Highway In Osogbo by Aminat508(op): 3:34pm On Jan 23, 2017

Early this morning, we learnt a female student of the Osun state university died at one hospital around the school premises Oke-baale Osogbo .

According to Amiloaded correspondant, the female student was said to be down with malaria and she was rushed to the hospital but wasnt attended to which lead to ther death.

However, there was a huge protest by the students this morning, which led to some of them threatening to burn down the said hospital which is just opposite the SARS police station oke bale, Osogbo.

May Her Soul Rest In Peace

The school vice chancellor Prof Labode Popoola declared 7days holiday for the students of the University

I was at the venue, The students marched towards the police station to meet the police, about 40 of them armed to the core. They had to return.

It's a really sad incident. Actions have to be taken!

She did not die because the hospital did not treat her. She died because of negligence. Malaria can only kill if not promptly treated. She must have been rushed to the hospital at the point of death. Young people should take health issues very serious the same way they take issues affecting their looks seriously. What a waste. My heart goes out to her parents.
