Rahmon Adedoyin, the ‘educationist’ and business mogul who was arrested over the strange death of Timothy Adegoke in his hotel, may be enjoying VIP privileges at the headquarters of the Osun State Police Command.

A source close to the deceased’s family told FIJ that Adedoyin does not spend his night in a cell as the police made the public believe.

“We have it on good authority that Rahmon Adedoyin does not spend the night in police detention where he is supposed to be till the police conclude their investigation,” the source said.

“He does not sleep in the cell. He spends the night at a special quarters inside the command and then returns to detention in the morning.”

FIJ placed several calls to Yemisi Opalola, the spokesperson of Osun police, but they were not answered. A text message sent to her was also not responded to.

On Wednesday, FIJ reported that Adedoyin was arrested and detained by men of the Osun State Police Command in connection with Timothy’s death.

Subsequently, relatives of the deceased accused Adedoyin of sending one of his lawyers to them for peaceful resolution of the case.

What is hidden to men is clear before God.
Whatever judgements given on this earth shall rejudged in the hereafter.

The Hotel is tainted for ever. No one will want to pay his hard earned money to lodge in a hotel tainted as a ritualists den.

The do say some hotels are home away from home, what then do we call this? Gateway to death?

The family of the slain man deserves judgement.

I don't understand the obsession with monitoring the experience of detained suspects
and raising alarm if they are not being treated like a condemned.

Let us put sentiment aside.

This man has not been proven to guilty.

So far the investigation is still on and the main suspect here is the worker at the hotel that concealed that the diseased lodged there. The only reason the hotel owner can be complicit is if proven he influence the event.

He is not convicted. Though the investigation might be manipulated if a suspect is treated as a VIP. The whole world is watching.

Kudos to the IPO, CP and all other police officers involved in this case.
They did a very good job and I hope all the 7 killers arrested including the owner of the hotel, who is also the founder of Oduduwa University.
(And this is just one of many of such cases!
