Below are pictures of Okpoko, in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State. There are no roads, drainages or any basic amenities in the town. It is a big town with 42 wards, yet the government has decided to ignore and deny them of these necessities. See photos below..

Crimes (of all sort) thrives here. "Whenever the rain comes, the people suffer," according to a resident of the town. Houses are flooded and most people are forced to seek for refuge in other places.

NOTE: These pictures were taken in dry season; you can only but imagine how the place will look like whenever the rain comes.

I think its high time we started telling ourselves the truth.

1. We should stop blaming Government all time.
2. We should learn to take the bull by the horn.
3. Whatever happens to Community Services/engagement.
4. Government cannot just do everything.

If you ve been to Okpoko, then you will know that this is even the london part of the town..
