This is one of the reasons good citizens should advocate for the separation of religion and the state. Religious leaders, no matter how influential, should not be involved in making inciteful comments like this, and then turning aound to shout persecution when the government takes action.

Inevitably, when church and state mix, one particular set of religious beliefs becomes favored over all other beliefs, including lack of belief. The people who follow the favored faith may like this, but it doesn't sit so well with all the people who do not follow the favored faith. And it often leads to discrimination against the folks on the outside.

Examples are plentiful - restrictions on reproductive decisions, sexual orientation, marriage rights, diet, or consumption of things like alcohol. Censorship. Even being able to keep your retail business open during days or hours that may conflict with times considered sacred by the favored faith.

From a different perspective, the historical record gives good cause to fear what may result from church and state mixing. Generally not a pretty picture, and often quite horrific.

I advise that Prophet Suleiman be careful of his utterances.

Why does DSS always try to force their way i to arresting people. Can't they just knock on the door and produce a warrant of arrest like civilized people. At least this is a well known pastor, he cant hide for long. that's how they arrested Judges, breaking doors, walls and window in the middle of the night, only to release them later.

I'm Sure the DSS are full of fulani men.

I'm a Christian and I used to respect this man of God until he made that inciting statement. I can't find it anywhere in the Bible where that is encouraged niether have read it where Jesus Christ make such declaration.
I have always go against the silence of our religious leaders over the happenings in this country but this isn't just the role that's expected of them; what is wrong is wrong and i'm not afraid to say it.....if sultan of sokoto made any similar statement, imagine how everyone aside the evil once will call for his head.. What make his comments different from what Sakau used to pass across every now and then?

To think he's issuing another threats Is just saddening. If Nigeria get worse, will his half a million followers be exempted? Again, I'm calling on our religious leaders to step in at a time like this....if you all fail to rise up to the occasion, help will still come from another place but know that God put you there for such a reason as we're presently in.

was arrested and imprisoned which in turn lead to the conversion of more people to Christianity.

So since you also are an apostle as you claim then if you are arrested and imprisoned hopefully

more people will be converted thru it. The Christians journey is not always a rossy one, the road

is always laced with tribulations.
