Muna15:Should've said this when they were offering mouth watering $90M to Tristan Thompson and Jr Smith. But yes he's the king. They were too drunk on one Ring and even had a chance during the Kyle Korver trade but instead, I don't know who's idea it was not to mention back up PG.. Wetin concern me?? He's only planting seeds of excuses whilst preparing for the ass whooping in the fearless east. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 10:23pm On Jan 25, 2017 |
Eruditor:Well. Its so silly when the king drops a triple double, Irving drops 49pts and Love puts 16rebs and still lose to the Pelicans without Davis. It shows how weak our defense is. I don't think a backup PG is the issue, a reliable center is, not the weak a** TT. We'd bounce back against Sac tonight. |

Donlittle:I blame the management for not seeing the bigger picture. LeBron wanted more money for his boys, but Griffin should have taken a clue from the way Pat Riley dealt with him when he was with the heat. Whether we like it or not, the cavs are going to get a PG because it's obvious that the team needs a playmaker. I just hope his statement won't make it difficult for them to get a decent one. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 11:12pm On Jan 25, 2017 |
lolawilliams:A backup PG is the main issue now, miss. LeBron is playing about 40mins/game because no one can pass the ball when he/Kyrie is on the bench and that is making him turn the ball over at critical parts of the game. I agree with you that our defense is weak, but I also think our bench lacks depth. P.S Kindly compare our number of assists to that of other teams to see what I'm talking about. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:41pm On Jan 25, 2017 |
Muna15:Omo who do you guys get tho? Maybe you go to Euro League or call Gilbert Arenas. Haha The Cavs have no cap space. They are neck deep in luxury tax. No P.G worth a damn is coming to the Cavs cos they just can't pay em. If Lebron and J.R took just 4 mil less there would have been enough to hold on to Delly |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:43pm On Jan 25, 2017 |
Muna15:You have the most expensive roster in the history of basketball. Just thought to chip that in |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 12:37am On Jan 26, 2017 |
A40:Signing a PG now depends on the amount of draft assets we have and apart from that, we're only looking for an average player. So, I don't think we would have to break the bank. The trade deadline is Feb 23 and I'm quite optimistic that the management would strike a decent deal before then. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 12:44am On Jan 26, 2017 |
A40:You don't need to worry about our expensive roster. We've got the most expensive basketball player in the world ![]() |

Muna15:these guy are remembering things different. Remember Tristan took less than the max. J.R in his first F.A opted out of his contract to test the market and he wasn't properly courted so the cavs lowballed him and he had to sign for less until after the cavs won the championship.then he had all the power. Any decent Agency would have gotten the same for their clients. what I find very distasteful is how the NBA allowed an active player to have his own sport agency at least don't allow him to sign NBA players. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:56am On Jan 26, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Not just his agency; but that he could affect deals of players under his management that play for the same team. Kanye West said it best "No one man should have all that power" |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 5:20am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Eruditor:Another L. This is getting worrisome They are 2-6 in their last 8 too. Not good at all |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:52am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Mynd44:Just can't wait for the play offs. At this rate, even the Celtics or Raptors would take down the Cavs. Whichever of them meets Cavs in the final. Every one now knows that the Cavs have a weak defense in transition. And putting D-Wade's history over LeBron into consideration, even the Bulls may upset the Cavs in the first round of play offs ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:55am On Jan 26, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:As in ehn, putting what the likes of Westbrook, Harden, Isaiah Thomas etc are doing playing as the only superstars and still lifting their teams, one wants to wonder if James would be the superstar that he is without major support. Dude should be thankful with the rooster that he has and stop with the preemptive excuses already |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 9:43am On Jan 26, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:I totally agree with you but the Cavs management also did a poor job on that roster. The team is not balanced right now and any injury to Kyrie could cost the team a whole lot. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:38am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Muna15:What position does Kay Felder play? Well, their cap space did not let them keep Delly as someone rightly said. I can't blame management. This was the roster that began the season save Korver. It is obviously a bad patch for the Cavs but I think it is more tactical and mental. They defend piss-poorly. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:44am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Mynd44:2nd time in his career last time being 2011. His numbers are not bad. Neither is Kyries or even the team as a whole. They just leak badly. If they keep thinking it is a personnel issue, they would be sorely mistaken. I think that "coasting", "this isn't the NBA finals" mentality has decommissioned them. They need to wake up. 14 Ls at this point is "Huuuuuge" in DJT's voice. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:46am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Lolawilliams where are you? They have left you alone to stomach it all. If you guys win a ring don't let them claim Cavs with you. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 10:46am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Eruditor:I think they just feel like that can simply out-score their opponents no matter how bad their defense is |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 10:47am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Eruditor:Oh you forget LeCramp |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 10:48am On Jan 26, 2017 |
Eruditor:Most people just do bandwagon. I respect core fans cos they stick to their team through thick and thin like Roland and Celtics. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:16am On Jan 26, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:He wants to reach Jordan and have as much rings as Kobe but doesn't want to work as much. There are worse teams than the Cavs. They need to stop complaining and play ball.. If Celtics catch Cavs right now ehn |
| Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 1:15pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:Even at this point. Raptors can't beat us. Did you watched their last 3-4 games? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 1:22pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
Eruditor:There's nothing to be worried about. I know good and well some changes would be done before playoffs. Im not worried cause the Raptors that should use this slight opportunity to move to the 1st seed are even choking at the moment. We're still at the first seed, we still run the East. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by lolawilliams(f): 1:30pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
Muna15:They're are giving up to many points inside.. TT cannot handle even the average centers, he dropped 2pts last game with a weak D, he dropped 6pts last night with a weak D too. Our weak defense is making us want a backup PG so bad |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 2:33pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
Muna15:i think the cavs did as well as could be expected, it is an unspoken rule that you never break up a championship team, that is why the team got paid and all resigned except for a delly who they couldn't afford keep. Bron shouldn't have complain this is just us a bad month. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 2:35pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:what history is that ? |

Yooooooo! Cavs fans. Lolawilliams.

| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:57pm On Jan 26, 2017 |
If you are a Queen James/Cavs fan, you genuinely have to be worried. The Cavs would have a troubled path to the conference finals if nothing changes because teams like unpredictable Raptors and a young and energetic Celtics can pull a surprise. The best players in the eastern conference play the guard position, and with Isaiah Thomas, K. Lowry, D. Rozan in their best form the Cavs would be pushed and possibly knocked out. Someone made a thought provoking comment about how Isaiah Thomas and Westbrook are carrying their team and winning. Lebron carved this roster, i think they should have kept Delly. However, i think Bron-Bron is complaining about the absence of a play maker who may not be a point guard. The Queen is looking at the Warriors roster and the subsequent addition of KD and wondering what meaningful addition the Cavs have made. If the Cavs meet the Warriors irrespective of what happens with their roster, i am convinced they would get swept or smoked. I have noticed during the 3rd and 4th Q, he is responsible for walking the ball up the court even when Uncle Drew is on the court. When they go small, they lack the intensity to rebound the ball or create shots for each other. Other times they over pass the ball because of the mismatch and cause a TO. Sadly, K. Love has always been the scapegoat for the Cavs, whenever things head south, they easily raise k.Love to the tabernacle of blame. |

lolawilliams:Ditto the Cavs. The East is no man's land as of now. Only sad we're still mid season |
