omo, na so gtb atm give me one torn 1k, quite similar to yours. took it back to the bank, to deposit it. the peeps there rejected it o. say e no possible make their atm give me such money..

Seen.. Was frustrated by this rubbish during the Christmas period.. Withdraw sums only to get home and start extracting notes with crazy shapes.

In front of me ATM machine gave out fake 1k. So its not new to me.

I've been in such situation and i made sure that i changed the money in the morning by drawing attention of the security men and using it as evidence

It's not new....Go into the bank and change it...simple

If you've never been paid bad cash by an ATM before, it's your luck.
I was a frequent visitor to both First Bank and Ecobank customer service in Mbaise over same issue nothing less than twice for each bank this past yuletide.

its not new thing.... do experience that on campus ATMs. No one is perfect. you can still go back and lodge complain they will check your transactions and if you are correct they might change it

I think he's just being obnoxious. It happens all the time; the ATMs dispensing bad cash. Reviewing the camera for such evidence is just plain silly. It's the bank's job to keep bad cash off the streets, irrespective of where it was gotten from, just like they do counterfeit notes.

The same thing happen in my korokoro eye at Diamond bank Odun ade branch Lagos the guy was confuse I ask him to go and show the security on duty.

Bank's don't really use their info emails. Get their customer service email and redirect your mail. Good luck
