Roland17:Brother the crowd reaction when the three players were introduced into the game tonight spoke volumes . You can't know and feel it better than the fans, can you? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 7:09am On Jan 28, 2017 |
SmooshCHN: lolawilliams:Please always dey read comments abeg. You still think Tristan Thompson is the problem, LeBron playing too many minutes. Y'all need to play defense. And stop whining. LeBron should stop whining and play. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 7:31am On Jan 28, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:Because they are putting the offensive figures. It is not like they are a low scoring team, they should trying to outscore their opponents and keep their opponents from scoring |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:46am On Jan 28, 2017 |
Mynd44:The problem with the Cavs this season is defence in transition. Yes they are a high scoring side but they are not the best scoring side, not even close when compared to the top 3 teams in the West. When the chips are down, their defence would be shown up by better scoring teams. That's why oga James is crying out for a PG |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44(mod): 7:50am On Jan 28, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:Will one PG increase their defence? Personally, I think not. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 8:03am On Jan 28, 2017 |
Mynd44:James wants team depth for the playoffs. Aside Kyrie Irving, the only other designated PG is a rookie who James considers as not worth a playoff run. Consider what he said here : "No disrespect to DeAndre and to Kay: You think we can rely on them to help us win a playoff game right now?" James said. "And it's no disrespect to them. But it's like, it's not fair to them."I think James is going about his quest to be G. O. A. T (as judged by number of rings ) in the wrong way. For a team with 2-3 all stars, as many veterans and highest salary cap by a margin in the league, they need to look inwards to win and not think of building a fantasy all stars team. He'd rather trade the team's draft slot for yet another superstar, forgetting that he was once a draft pick. |

By the way, monster game from Harden last night. I love the way he quietly goes about his numbers, great guy. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by ipledge10(m): 8:07am On Jan 28, 2017 |
I'm with Harden 51 points and 13 rebounds 13 assists |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:31am On Jan 28, 2017 |
ipledge10:Yes boss, he is setting his own NBA records. Massive baller. That's something James hasn't been able to manage at a consistent level. He's more interested in how many superstars he can be surrounded with then he'd be credited with the glory of success. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 9:43am On Jan 28, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:Miami fan right? What happened between you and bron, He normally doesn't get this kind cold reception from Miami fans. So wetin happen ? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:47am On Jan 28, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Not necessarily Miami, it's D-Wade that catches my fancy. D-Wade and Bron are best of friends, so by your Algebra I'm supposed to be on James' side na, isn't it ? ![]() Buh no, I'm an objective fan, I appreciate great players doing great things by hard work and ingenuity. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 10:16am On Jan 28, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:Naa,it's fair now that I know you no be Heat fan. Usually with the regulars, you can guess their motivation when bron is involved. Concerning that last part:As do I bro, as do I. |

OohMpa:Graf the G.O.A.T. I love Serena but the competition now is dross compared to Graf who dragged with Martina, Monica Seles, Chris Evert lolawilliams:Lol smh. Dirk has done the needful the rest na bonus. At least my boy doesn't cry for help like You know who ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:10pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:Lol Bogut is a decent defender. That's about it. Mavs going for him was a huge mistake |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:16pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
lolawilliams:You guys had a playmaker nau. . Mo Williams your surnamesake ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:18pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
Lol not remotely suprised about what is going on with the Bulls. That roster was an accident waiting to happen |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 6:34pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
@A40 I swear! But the relationship would have worked if Wade had proved to be a true leader that we expected him to be. It's kinda pathetic how he allowed his bromance with Jimmy to preclude his professionalism. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 6:56pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
Muna15:You are right on the money!!! There is definitely a divided locker room. Wade and Butler on one end, Rondo and the younger cats on the other end. If you watched last nights loss to Miami, Rondo's group played better and actually put more points on the board in comparison to Grant, Butler who finished the night with 3 points and Wade. Butler is not helping his development especially when he is convinced he has arrived the pinnacle of success. Many aspects of his game has regressed. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Muna15: 9:55pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
Roland17:Butler and Dwade public show of shame will definitely motivate the young guys to do more but I don't see the team playing together for a long time. The incident shows that the management can not trust Jimmy with the leadership role and that some players among them don't trust the coach. They need to offload those three goons they call leaders. Sorry to hear that if you're a fan of the bulls ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:15pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
Muna15:The coach is decent but for another roster. He needs faster players. Wade is planning his way out. Butler is in over his head. I understand what Rondo was trying to do but...that guy is a dressing room nightmare. They should all leave while Bulls restrategize and recoup. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:17pm On Jan 28, 2017 |
lolawilliams:You still haven't explained how you need a playmaker. To stop the opposition from scoring or for helping Cavs close well? I don't understand. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:36am On Jan 29, 2017 |
Muna15:it wont motivate anything. rondo is the wrong messenger carrying a right message. Rondo needs a mirror check before he starts pontificating on anything. I am not really a butler fan, but he and dwade have a lot more rep with me anyday. They could have handled this better, but who knows what else they tried. Rondo is a cancer everywhere he goes. Just tell the dude to go home. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:42am On Jan 29, 2017 |
Eruditor:to prevent lbj from playing so many minutes and running so many plays. There is no reason anyone with that much mileage should be logging highest minutes in the league, I dont care how physically fit he is. Get a scrappy savvy PG...doesnt even have to be a prolific scorer - someone that can keep offense moving when things stagnate for cavs like it usually does. Instead of inserting LBJ to bail the team everytime there is trouble |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 4:23am On Jan 29, 2017 |
So NBA now allows rape on National TV? America SMH.. Someone please send Clippers some help. |

SmooshCHN:it was supposed to be a battle of "California", it ended up being Oakland massacre ... curry halftime shot still giving me orgasm right now ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:29am On Jan 29, 2017 |
birdman:Trust me I agree he plays too many minutes for his age but, this is a guy Lebtards almost say can cure cancer. I think he should man up and trust his teammates. They started well this season and got Korver midway. Their offense was flowing and they did not look defensively inept as they do now. I agree with people who say they need to take defense more seriously. I still don't think they lost those games due to LBJs many mins. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:33am On Jan 29, 2017 |
ipledge10:To me, it is not a rivalry anymore. When you get to beat someone as many times as the Warriors have beaten Clippers since 14/15, we can't with a straight face call it a rivalry again. BTW, notice Curry's crazy 3s again and how he splits double-teams easily. This is reminiscent of MVP Curry. If he can take this form to the Playoffs, Durant or Klay will have the easiest path to averaging 30+ppg. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Manutd19: 10:03am On Jan 29, 2017 |
Curry just being Curry. This is why fans wants to see him starting an all star game ahead of Westbrook. No disrespect to Westbrook but he just seems like that guy that will never be loved like other super stars by the general fans. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:44pm On Jan 29, 2017 |
I'm biased already so let me be quiet on the Wade ish. Massive game from Curry, he plays better when the handbrakes are off. Dude has to express himself more, I'm glad Durant is now encouraging that. |
