Curry just being Curry. This is why fans wants to see him starting an all star game ahead of Westbrook. No disrespect to Westbrook but he just seems like that guy that will never be loved like other super stars by the general fans.
Cause he dropped 40+ points, that's the reason why fans wanna see him starting the all-star game ahead of WB.

WB drops more 40+pts than he does, more APP, more RPG.

That's what some of you will never get. Curry had 43 points, 9 rebounds 6 assists before the 4th quarter. If he was chasing stats like some people he would have pushed everyone away to get his 10th rebound and dished the ball 4 more times for a triple double. The stat sheets and commentators alike will be screaming "Triple double" but what good does it make? Nothing.

If Curry was on a less talented team he may most likely not out-rebound WB but guess 2 things he could do easily? Score more points and with better efficiency. That's why I don't scream to high heavens about triple doubles and what not. I look for how a player influences games whilst making his teammates better. Sure WB has had a better season than Curry if you are looking at those numbers but fans who don't only look at numbers preferred not just him but even Harden to him.

I go with the fans.

Mr vet, and leader with a pathetic sense of entitlement was not even practicing with the team, yet he had the effrontery to call his team mates out? I am guessing Wade believes he is too big and accomplished to practice with younger inexperienced bulls, he forgot he would be playing with the same rookies on game day.

Fred Hoiberg needs to get a hold of this team.

Trust me I agree he plays too many minutes for his age but, this is a guy Lebtards almost say can cure cancer. I think he should man up and trust his teammates. They started well this season and got Korver midway. Their offense was flowing and they did not look defensively inept as they do now. I agree with people who say they need to take defense more seriously. I still don't think they lost those games due to LBJs many mins.
lol. cancer ke? grin

trust is not enough in this league. skill is one thing. coaching is another. but you also need the other pieces - if your bench is not deep, you are not winning the 'ship this year, no matter how talented the first 5 are. The cavs are too thin on the back court right now.

Brother this is something that was worked into his contract, to monitor his minutes so he stays healthy in the long stretch of the season.
Why wasn't/isnt anyone complaining that he doesn't play b-2-b games, is it because they get to have more playing time when he rests?
If you must be partisan, at least do it right.
Again if you look at what Wade said (not the translated version that analysts have brought out) , he charged the younger ones to play with more commitment as he wasn't seeing the fire in the team. If anyone has the rights to make that statement , it's a player like D-Wade cos he has seen it all and knows what it is to play with commitment.
I mean, X-ray his career from the day one, in his younger and healthy days, he had so much fire in him that he got the name Dwayne "the flash" Wade.
Lastly, we're talking about a multiple ring winner here and a potential hall of famer whose Jersey number would surely be retired. He deserves some respect man.

it wont motivate anything. rondo is the wrong messenger carrying a right message. Rondo needs a mirror check before he starts pontificating on anything. I am not really a butler fan, but he and dwade have a lot more rep with me anyday. They could have handled this better, but who knows what else they tried. Rondo is a cancer everywhere he goes. Just tell the dude to go home.
In sum, DWade has the support of Birdman. He was your former teammate, so it's understandable wink

Brother,

What silly respect are you speaking about? is respect earned or forced on followers? I will advice you to study the concept of "destructive leadership" under ethical leadership/ management.

What relevance are his championships when he can not reciprocate the values on younger players around him, especially when you consider its a new team. Let me clarify that there is no portion in Wade's contract that states he would not practice with the team, absolutely no where. The decision not to play him back to back is the decision of the management because of his age and nothing with his contract.

Tim Duncan, Lebron, KG, Dirk, Shaq, Robinson (Air Marshal) have won rings, however, their dedication to productive leadership is not determined by the number of rings they bring to the table but the dedication to impacting knowledge, accountability and discipline to younger CATS.

Did you watch KG last season with the Timberwolves? his presence/ influence was not on the court!!!!!!!! KG exerted his influence on the younger players during practice and interviews. How about Lebron? as much i detest some aspect of his personality, have you watched BRON BRON in practice? the dude is all out, you better not come at BRON soft during practice... Vince Carter is 40, have u watched Vince in practice? Do u think he would complete last week's 360 layup without practice.

So because Wade has multiple championship he has earned the license not to practice with his team? he has earned the license to call the younger CATS out during interviews? dis you notice the negative influence such indifference has on Butler? Do you seriously think that bulls roster would trust and respect Butler as their true leader?

I don't mean to sound boisterous, however, let me state that i mentor teenage boys and girls within the under-served portion of my community through the school district, boys&girls club and United Way. Experience has taught me that African American teenage boys are very fragile, and sensitive emotionally, they can be broken by a singular experience. Me and other volunteers who provide positive mentoring strive to protect that emotion while we build their resilience to ignore negative vices.

I wish i can share a personal story of an intelligent young teenager i am working with, maybe it would help you grasp the enormity of harm Wade did with that singular act.

You should not be condoning such destructive leadership in any environment, a leadership with a sense of entitlement and a lack of accountability and respect for followers. All because he has won a ring!!!!!

So you're a bad student for a week and instead of your teacher to correct you in class, she goes all out on you on the assembly in front of the school. Does she have the right because she has passed all test tests of being once a student?? Just a simple analogy. Wade should've done that in the locker room not outside same with Rondo but I don't blame Rondo cos I'm 100% sure Wade and Butler wouldn't listen to him.. And Butler needs to shut the fúck up..

All these Curry fans. Curry starting over WB was one of the egregious snubs in NBA history, nothing can change that.

I wont lie, Curry is dropping good numbers this season(not great) averaging 24.6 points, 6.1 assists and 4.2 rebounds with 1-3 other All Stars/All NBA (including a top 5 MVPcandidate and a top 3 DPOY candidate)...
And the triple double machine, Westbrook (30.6, 10.6 rebounds, 10.4 assists per game) he has willed the Thunder into a new era faster than anyone would have thought possible when Durant left. but a big thanks to Westbrook’s imperfect magnificence, that Durant wound has been healing quickly.

That’s something that should havebeen recognized, no matter how many shots WB missed along the way (he’s shooting just 42.3% overall and 32.4% from three-point range), no matter how many turnovers, no matter how many ball hogness or whatever.

Well. i think the allstar game is a popularity contest for the fans, so they can vote.. Abi OohMpa, is there anymore thing to add?

If WB had started ahead of Curry I won't have cared but as Curry is starting ahead of him I can explain/defend it and be right on the money. Instead of subtly soliciting for it, You might as well post nudes here if you are looking for likes.

WB has not willed OKC into any new era FFS he is achieving just about what everyone predicted. He is a good player I doubt anyone here has said otherwise. Any other good player substituted for WB will just about average the same stats except rebounds (but especially PPG) and at a better %. Isaiah Thomas, Kyrie, Curry. They all shoot better than him and turn the ball over a lot less.

WB plays with the aura of someone being opposed and I respect him for it but please stop using his exaggerated numbers to demand sh*t from the fans. We know what we are watching.

I have told you people on here. The NBA used to employ pure popularity before and Curry won that dept hands down. Okay, this time around they introduced Media and Players' quota into the formula and Curry still finished above WB. So except you are saying we should just take your word for it you have no case.

Someone made a good case earlier and because the only person that refuted it took it back I rested that argument. Isaiah Thomas was more deserving of a starting spot in the East than WB was in the west and the numbers can show it. At least in your own admission Curry's not-so-great season is better than what Pundits currently call Kyrie's best season abi I lie?

Lola, you see all these kids from other cities/country who are the future of the NBA fan base wearing Curry's jersey not to talk of the adult. One thing you need to understand is NBA needs the fans especially these kids for the future of its product. The league isn't the one telling these fans who to like, it's your game that determines that. Today, LeBron and Curry are the two biggest stars in the NBA. If the vote is done 20 times, Westbrook would never for once come ahead of Curry. Fans wanna watch their favorite players and you talking about Westbrook ahead of Curry?

Westbrook balling for sure, I like him alot but he isn't Curry. Their are superstars and the stars. Westbrook is A Star, Curry a superstar.
Hazard is A Star, Messi, Ronaldo the superstar.

Hahahaha
