Would have loved the OTA option but have no access to Wifi. Shey I can download it from en.miui.com/download-301.html ? I guess the right file to download is the file under the "Stable ROM>Full ROM pack" tab (Author: MIUI Official Team Version: V8.1.1.0.MHOMIDI
(MIUI8) Size: 1.3G). My concern is the file size is reading 1.78G while download via UCBrowser! Am I safe?

try to read other people's comment about the rom u wanna download, cauz d latest rom might not be the most optimised n best one, of late, camera performance z kinda ruin on redmi note 3 global rom bt comapred wif global dev rom, camera performance z superb....

There's a way to enable swiping 3 fingers on the screen to screenshot.
You can enable it in Setting > Additional Settings > Screenshot > Slide three fingers to take a screenshot.
Just swipe 3 fingers at any screen to activate screenshot capturing.

I don't have that option under Additional Settings!

The note 3 has 3 variants ; mediatek, pro version (snapdragon) and special edition( also snapdragon). Don't mix-up the roms please

I use to think the normal note 3 pro has a 32GB 3GB variant, but given that it's no where in Aliexpress, I'm not sure anymore.

I think the RN3 has 2 versions of MTK(note 3 & 3 prime) and SDragon (3pro-16GN & 3 pro prime-32GB)

No sir. Each of the variants I mentioned has the 16GB and 32gb version. The size of the rom has no bearing on the names.

The 'pro' is used to different it from the mtk version. It's sellers that usually use 'prime' to confuse people.

The special edition was 'specially' made for Taiwan to support their band 28

I'm not new to Xiaomi per se. I was using the rn2 on developer ROM before it was stolen last year Q4.
I want to order the mi max for obvious reasons (battery, screen size) but I read somewhere in this thread that the Chinese are currently on a national holiday hence all orders will not be processed.
How true is this?
(i'm planning to get it from dreami stores)

Another question.
I haven't been able to claim my $10 coupon. The app keeps giving me the error page that reads thus:

"uh oh, something went wrong, please try again later"

Has anyone experienced this? if yes then;
what's the way out?

Third question.
Can I load my alipocket less than the price of an item i intend to order if I have a coupon that can cover the price difference?

For those having issues funding their alipocket with GTB: Try funding with $50 each time. Worked for me.
