Between December 13th when MMM went down to this period millions of Nigerians had been duped. From whatsapp group chat where u are asked to drop certain amount and get double after 24hours. Example.. Helpers court. Those ones did that for a while then moved to one quack site that another round of people were duped.
Later people moved to where I called "ghost town ' the mother of all dupeees. Here they deal with big monies. 100k to get 200k. 50k to get 100k. In fact I. Learnt of one just 3days ago. 500k to 1m. Here u pay admin fee. It depends on the amount u want. For instance 50k u pay 10k admin. For 100k u pay 20k admin fee. They do this for two days and u just wake up and the group has been deleted. Many that called friends and relatives got into big economy hardship. Example of this telegram group are 21st century, cremen, instant cash, CCC, RSA etc
Then they moved from that to quack site. Kaynation, and the one that got people crying now is tripleit. Com where u pay 20k and u get 60k. That one function for 3days then come see cry cry for whatsapp group chat.

These guys are syndicate scammers. What they do is that, they call their relatives and friends then they start a group. They get paid and camouflage. They jubilate in different whatsapp groups and social media, then unsuspecting people joined and registered. They get enough of their money and they crash it.

For the telegram, they match u to pay their friends and families without them paying to anybody initially.

These guys doing this are blessed (their thoughts thou) they enjoy with peoples money while most homes are in financial hardship now.
I Will still write extensively on it because I have done enough research on them.
The best is abstinence.
Please write for the insignificant number of people that read. A bunch of Nigerians don't read. It's so appalling.

Are Nigerians so lazy that they find it hard to work for their money or they are just being foolish? Why are we so interested in doubling our money without doing nothing? To think the youths are mostly involved in this ponzi thing saddens my heart
sometimes I am pained by the level of insensitivity of some of you guys. Where is the work? Those working have had their salaries slashed, salaries are reducing and the price of commodities are more than quadrupling in the market, contractors are not getting paid, this recession is real, unless you are not in Nigeria. I don't do ponzi schemes, but it helps I've seen people it have helped and people it have sent to their early graves. Either way, life is a risk, and it's even a bigger risk not to take a risk. If you won't be involved in ponzi, stop critiquing and find a solution to this Nigerian problem/recession, how many people have you taken out of the job market? Stop pointing fingers and be the solution.

"One of their victims, a food vendor and mother-of-3, Nlumun Bagu, said she keyed into the programme because it was announced in the church that some people were around to empower the youths and less privileged."

Did the Church not verify, before announcing it to their members?

I feel so sorry for those lieing against churches and planing to kill Christianity in Nigeria.. ..u Can i angrymagine the story....catolic church advising members to go into such schemes...hmmmm some people can. Lie o! cheesy
Who was there with them? Was I there?! Were you there?!!

This is where we have to be careful because even the Bible encourages us not to bear false witness even in our defense of our religious beliefs and organizations.

Our feelings of incredulity aside, our adamant faith in our religious institutions must not be allowed to lead us into validating unscrupulous acts of erring believers and sheep in wolves clothing; it makes us as culpably guilty as the perpetrators.

Bishops and so-called men of God have been known to do worse, Church History is replete with even enough godless popes so only God and His Word are infallible abeg!

GREED, GREED and GREED.
I don't pity such victims. Don't they ask themselves what sort of business returns 100% after tax of investment.
Even gun running or drug running businesses will not give u such returns.
Greedy victim. Why didn't she trade with it and get 100% profit the next day.
Scammers will continue to feed on the greed and foolishness of would be victims.

There goes another self-righteous being, didn't you understand a thing from my post? What is your definition of laziness? Is it everyone that understands online business? Is it everyone that has the level of education you have? If you are a teacher, is it all your students that grasp the information you are trying to pass along immediately?
I am a lecturer and I also run a company, I understand what is going on out there. The number of of consultancy jobs I usually get has dropped drastically, so because I don't do online business and I am feeling the brunt of this recession, I can now be termed as lazy? So Dangote, Adenuga and Otedola whose forbes ratings dropped because of this recession are now lazy? What are you even saying?

Now your talking, recall in my post, I said I don't do ponzi. But if I may play the devil's advocate a bit, agriculture as in real profit making agriculture isn't made for the average income earning Nigerian. Where would you get hectares of land to farm on? Even by some miracle if you have it, where do you get the funds to develop it? Let's be honest, do you know the stress involved in getting funding from the government or banks? If you you want to venture into agriculture, be it farming, livestock or even small or medium scale food production/processing. The economy is not giving people much options to choose from.
My point is I don't critique people on the choices they make, try to find out what that individual is passing through that pushed him/her into whatever situation they find themselves in.
I for one have never heard of "ponzi schemes"(I trained as an engineer not an economist or accountant) until this recession came into this country. So I believe that people are reacting to the situation in whatever way they see fit.
