@Forzarush, they shld allow na. I'm in Lagos Nigeria, although I use a private hospital in lekki phase 1. I think I've read birth stories of mamas who had their hubbies in d labour room with them. do ask ur hospital and hear what they have to say.

You've said it all,private hosp in Lekki. I've been advised to register at a general hospital being a ftm though I'm currently using a private clinic till around May when I'll be relocating to another state and I doubt if general hospitals have time for that.

Amen o. I fear that episiotomy ehh. Although I didn't have it in my first pregnancy except a small tear that wasn't even sticted, but it seems inevitable in this one because my baby is already big. Fingers crossed anyway.

Mama's please what can I use to bring down high BP? Had my first appointment at the General hospital today anf my BP read 137/84. The doctor looked at me and said Madam what is wrong? Why is your BP high? I was surprised because I feel very fine, just occasional headaches. He asked me to go and lie down for about an hour so I went to my friend's office that works in the hospital to lie down. After an hour, they checked again but this time it was 134/81. The doctor prescribed some drugs and gave me short appointment for next week. Protein was not found in urine though. I tried to read online and i saw this could lead to pre eclampsia. I reject it though. I'm at home resting instead of going back to work but I'm kinda scared. What can I do to bring it down? Abeg make una no jump and pass o

@phalekkys my Cappo am Present oo. back pain is all am having now. Went for ma ANC today, had TT2 today my hand already aches (any remedy?)and no malaria tabs yet. Registered in a health centre too will see if they will TAlk about it.
#teamJuly has any1 been able to check the sex of there baby? want to go for scan, what do i look out for, the last time I went my doc didn't really tell me anything, he only showed me my baby and out of excitement I didn't ask questions.
If I may ask what does it take to register in a General hospital.

I usually make sure I eat at least one fruit everyday but now I will up my fruit intake. Stopping Maggie means I have to stop buying food outside and cooking to work but I dont mind, if that is what will help me. Thank you mas once again

I avnt tasted mango since it came out...but I want to badly...hope its ok for preg women...I was watching a Yoruba film today and saw sum1 eating agege bread and ewa goyin...chei..naim my longthroat start...dey don't sell DAT kind of thing in Benin na...

@spiceeamiee.Concerning d hpb, i will just advice u to calm down though not alwz easy but doable. Sometimes, one might not be thinking too much to hv such issue. It might be stress but most at time doctors refer to it as pregnancy induced hbp. Most of them go away immediately after childbirth why some lingers. Your doctor will guide u on how to manage it. As at now, ur own is still within d normal range. Anything above 140/90 is said to be high.
That been said, try as much as possible to reduce your salt intake and spices in your food. Eat cucumber and carrots. Rest, especially your nite sleep, don't joke with it.
l battled pregnancy induced hbp in my last pregnancy. Mine went up as high as 192/92.l followed my doctors advice on the management during the pregnancy and i put to bed successfully without any complications. My lo will be 10months on Friday.
Above all, pray as never before. Alwz confess positive and never u b afraid no matter wat d doctors are saying. lay your hands on ur tummy and speak to your lo. U will come out victorious.

She started to bleed very heavily with clots (sorry) ranging between golf ball size and tennis ball size, at 12weeks she miscarried she was rushed to hospital by ambulance and it was so painful (worse than giving birth full term) she was given pethidine and had to be on painkillers for a week after. She got hemorrhage from the vagina during pregnancy. I took her to the hospital and the doctor said it was just fine. But I don't really think so. I'm so worried, I don't know what to do. Does anyone also suffer from this? Please give me some feedbacks. They were very detail but they made me so confused because there were so many methods. I don't know which are good or not. Help me out, should I follow these methods or not?

This mango you people are sharing, seems it's still on it's way to Lagos because I've not been seeing it o, anyway I'm just glad to hear it's Mango season, I know sooner or later it would flood everywhere and I'd eat to my satisfaction.
