From my childhood I save money a lot, especially during those Xmas time when aunty n uncle give kids money.

Now am grown ooooo, people I still find it difficult to spend my money ooo oooo. My hard earned salary.

I drive joy in saving, saving n saving. In fact I shop for myself twice in a year. Though when am buying, I buy quality wears.

If I spend my own money, I will be angry. What sort of stupid life is this.

Even if someone gives me money, I still use it carefully.

Am not hear to earn online like.

Am financially stable. Our last born now on his nysc have to post my picture on his fb account to appreciate me, even did mtn caller tune for me. I give out more than I give to myself.

I have long hair so I hardly fix weavon. I only go to sallon weekly to wash n set my natural hair.

I don't fix nail let alone lip stick. Which kind woman abi self.

My power no dey pass 1000 n it will last for almost a year. I need deliverance ooooo.

When I want to buy things, I can go to marina with 100k n shop once or twice a year.

I derive joy in seeing my alert n money. It is well with me

This is good for you ooo..expecially in this kind of kwontry we found ourselves. The only problem u will have is when u have family, women dont like stingy men. However, if u start consuming beer, u will automatically become generous. Some guys spend as much as 100k everyday on beer and wine alone with friends and it does not borther them.

learn from her at your own risk, she might be the type that doesn't believe in the values of the maintenance habit.... After gaining a stable job as she claimed, its unreasonable to save 50K out of 60K on monthly basis unless her parent keeps financing her lifestyle expenses.

O.p as long as you think it is a problem it basically is...saving money in cash is not the best investment..money looses value. If you said you invested it, then i would understand. If you save more than 65% of your salary for no particular reason it begins to become a problem. Donate to charity then!

Loosen up a bit. I am quite like you but i invest my cash and not just save it in the bank and watch it depreciate daily. Dont go above 65%.. Spend the rest on yourslef. Obviously there are things you must need if you think deeply.

Spending too much is a problem..same as saving too much.

The attribute you are showing is not strange at all, as a matter of fact it is something that is lacking in western world these days. According to stat, annual household savings in most of these countries are below 5% of total income because almost everything is obtained on credit. Can you see that your saving habit is something many people will kill to have?
The only thing I think you need to work on is feeling bad when you spend your money. I believe a way to solve that problem is to change your outlook to life generally. You don't become rich by saving, you become rich by making the money you saved works for you.
