Pls, can somebody tell me how on earth the SE is marginalized, they have 5 states with governors, yet nothing to show for it and they claim they will turn Biafra into mini USA.Stupidity is really genetic. |

Yet, Okorocha decides to owe salaries and pensions to dying workers and pensioners by donating millions to build IDP schools. sarrki:Is Buhari still contesting with Jonathan? Why drag Jonathan into every discussion? ROCHAS is complaining that the APC for which he made serious contribution towards their victory in the last election has not rewarded him, his state (IMO) and his region ( SE) fairly. Is ROCHAS now a PDP advocate or a Jonathanian? To be candid with you, your obsession with Jonathan is toxic and could give you HB pressure if not checked. Stop running from thread to thread to attack someone who's grace you'll never get till you die. God makes and deposes kings. In the meantime, pray for Buhari. |

..... what can I say. After running around they all come back to THE POINT. And after flattery they all speak THE TRUTH which hurts and cuts across party lines, interests and advantages. This is the bottom line. Rochas is positioning himself at the centre because he knows time is gradually slipping away. At the end of the day this is the problem with Nigeria, a structural one which administration after regime has failed to address but they pretend to.... and expect Nigeria to get better.... which it simply can't. |

owobokiri:The marginalisation in the SE today, is it worse that what happened under the last admin which many brainwashed people in the zone still revere as God-sent? Kindly mention the projects that were built in those 5 years of massive income of the last admin which makes you think it was better than this one with regards to the SE?... And please dont tell me nonsense about appointing Igbos to go fill their personal pockets in govt offices, I need tangible projects. If you cant name at least 5 tangible projects then we would know who the real fools are between the many who wanted to kill themselves to perpetuate Jona or the ones who said they were tired and wanted to try something new. |

That's the more reason we are clamoring for restructuring or better still, an INDEPENDENT STATE BIAFRA. |

HungerBAD:Guy, i tire o. The East and the South-South gets its own share of yearly allocation. What are they doing with it? Yet they would blame Buhari or the Hausas and Yorubas when we are all getting allocations. |

obailala:Studies have it that Jonathans administration ballooned the middle class more than any other administration since the war... Essentially, Jonathans administration created the biggest middle class growth in this country through pure free market instruments and you know what? The biggest quantity of people that moved into the middle class full time during this time was the igbo. That was due to their activities in the informal sector of the economy were enhanced liberal policies that deregulated a lot of trading/manufacturing areas favored them to no end. That, you can notice by the recognizable improvements in the living standards of the aveerage igbo during this period.., new houses, new cars and greater ability to provide needed consumables to their families. I wont go into his across the board "open-minded" policies that favored the igbo a lot in those areas as recruitment in the army, immigration and the civil service.., something that never happened since the war. . In the end, the igbo didn't vote for him because he is igbo, he is not! Neither did they vote for him because the other ghoulish guy is a fulani, Yaradua was! Igbo voted for Jonathan because to a relative level, he resembled a candidacy that wanted a level playing ground for all ethnic groups in the country. Igbo culture thrives on fair competitions. Those of you that always heckle the igbo for voting Jonathan haven't explained to us how/why you voted against buhari three times, only to see the angel in him the fourth time! Osibande ![]() |

This just goes to show that Rochas has some good in him. He has been lying all along with the hope the government at the center will prove his words to Igbo people but unfortunately the man from Daura doesn't give a flying fvck about Igbo people and Rochas eye don clear and now we expect him to keep saying the truth instead of telling us the opposite of what we already know. I wonder what Abagworo will say about, seeing that he started supporting Buhari and APC because of Rochas. |

nonaira:But look at it from his perspective now, if he pushes for secession and the ibo and he succeeds that means no more allocation for him or his state and why would he want that? We are talking about a massive loss of income which his state desperately needs as they hardly generate there own revenue and are on life support like pretty much almost every other Nigerian state? How would that make sense to him. |

owobokiri:First of all, it is not only yorubas that supported the removal of Jona, I am from the land where the sun rises but I dont buy into the GEJ-is-God euphoria which resonates in the east. Also, whilst you myopically think osinbade was the reason the SW voted against jonathan, how does this your wisdom explain the SW voting Jonathan in 2011 against the very same Buhari who ran with a 'TUNDE'? Now to answer your question about why a Buhari who was rejected thrice was considered the fourth time, the answer is commonsensical, it is the same reason why an Atiku who has been rejected for over a decade is now being considered by a large section of people. The answer is simple, GEJ flopped and his weak leadership was disappointing and uninspiring. Without having to digress too much, I asked you to name the projects done by GEJ in the SE which makes you think the south-easterners who supported his removal are fools, I didnt ask you for on-paper statistics and economic indices which were purely a reflection of high oil prices. Oh Yes! the economic indices looked good in GEJ's time despite the unforgivable monumental lootocracy that prevailed, but that was all a function of high oil price and excess forex in the system. The consequence of the prodigal handling of the economy then could have only been seen when the oil boom subsided, and unfortunately for Buhari, he's simply reaping the consequences of those indiscretions. |
