Time is the healer of wound, as soon as you feel you are psychologically and emotionally ok to handle a new one, then U are good to go!

I think it shouldn't be less than 3months.
These months should be purely sabbatical and you make a research why it didn't work out, not blaming the other partner, because I feel when a relationship is broken, then the guy is at fault, cause the Same girl would end up marrying another, so probably there was something you should have done and you didn't.
