If you start sharing information amongst yourselves, it will be a great disservice to those who constantly give out their piece daily for everyone's knowledge and lead to the death of the thread ultimately. In the long run, everyone loose, less information for you, no information for others. May be you should use the German name of the school. Sometimes, it could appear as HS, München or the full Hochschule München, I'm not sure.

Thank bro..i really appreciate.

im not trying to do that....i just noticed people needed more instant information.

i still come here to learn and also share information.

Good day all,
pls my e-family who could help me explain more about the meaning or the real answers to these two questions.

(1) (Regular term of study* --
How many semesters in total constitute a regular term of study in your course program?)
I am thinking 2 as two semesters make up a session ie a year in Nigerian university??

(2) (Vacation semester*--
Please fill in the number of vacation semesters. )
I am thinking 8 semester as I did a 4 years course in degree..??

Please more ideas and suggestions needed.

Am feeling an application so i want to be absolutely sure before i submit my application.

Thank you in advance.

GOOD DAY HOUSE, I AM JEFF AND HAVE A STORY TO TELL ABOUT MY VISA APPLICATION TODAY AND I WOULD NEED A CANDID ADVICE.I GOT TO THE EMBASSY THIS MORNING AND JOINED THE QUE BECAUSE MY VISA APPLICATION WAS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY AT 7AM, ON GETTING TO THE QUE AT ABOUT 6:45 I FELT SAFE BECAUSE I KNEW I GOT THERE B4 7. ALL OF A SUDDEN THE SECURITY GUY THERE ORDERED ALL ELDERLY/ PARENTS WITH KIDS TO COME FORWARD AND B4 I KNEW IT MOST OF THE ELDERLY CAME WITH FAMILY AND THE PEOPLE WITH KIDS CAME WITH FAMILY, I FOUND ABOUT 15 PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME. IT FINALLY GOT TO MY TURN AT 7:38 AND BARE HEADED MAN CHECKING IN THE VISA SAID I WAS LATE AND SENT ME AWAY, I PLEADED AND IT ALL FELL TO DEAF EARS. I SENT A MAIL TO THE EMBASSY THEY TOLD ME THEY CANT DO ANYTHING AND I SHOULD APPLY IN 3 WEEKS TIME AND THAT WONT BE POSSIBLE FOR ME BECAUSE MY SCHOOL RESUMES APRIL4TH AND VISA TAKES ABOUT FOUR WEEKS. THOUGH THE DEADLINE FOR MY ENROLLMENT IS APRIL 17TH. SO HOUSE MY QUESTIONS ARE
1. WHAT SHOULD BE MY NEXT LINE OF ACTION BECAUSE THE SCHOOL REFUSED TO WRITE A LETTER TO THE EMBASSY?
2. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO GET ME AN INVITATION IN BETWEEN THE THREE WEEKS?
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by TubbyTJ(m): 4:58am On Mar 01, 2017
Just send another email for interview date to the student email address. There's a chance they'll just book you without realising you just had one.

Good morning house, I'm new here after following this thread for like 8 days or so.
I'm a fresh sociology graduate 2015 precisely and I want to apply to a German school that will hasten my admission. I heard most tuition there are free and there are opportunities there. Please kindly enlighten me about the school I could get rapid admission from and presumably it could be schools with lower rank and do I need a proof of English language.
I'm with a CGPA of 3.53 in sociology and graduated 2015. Wanna go for masters though.
Ur kind and hasten reply would help a brother.

Best Regards.

To my own understanding 4 years Nigeria course = 8 semesters as U are not expected to add any period of strike or delay in the process.
While 5 years course = 10 semesters.

You need to first of all inform the embassy to cancel your prior appointment because you were a no-show on their system and they do not particularly like that at all as that slot could have been given to someone else without that you cannot book another interview date. how you go about explaining your no-show is entirely up to you.

see if you can get your school to grant you an enrolment extension to even stand a chance at all if you get an interview date but if not please kindly defer your admission to next semester if that is possible with your school.Once you get another interview date try to fund as quickly as possible as you will not have the luxury of time.

Arriving 15 minutes to the supposed interview time is never a good idea you are an adult and should have known better and please don't even use traffic as an excuse the experiences of others from prior pages of the thread should have taught you a lesson or perhaps you never bothered to read back. most people arrive a minimum one hour before the time while some push to 30minutes before time but it is just better to be safe than sorry as you get to join the queue on time, documents checked and allowed into the embassy and get to sit without any form of undue pressures while you collect your thoughts and wait patiently to be interviewed. Try the tips given above but note that there are no guarantees.it is always better to learn from the experiences of others instead you are now the example others will learn from. I am quite sure if you get another interview date you now know better not to arrive 15 minutes before time.

I guess you just have to plead to the embassy in ur next email stating u did really arrive before time. Try to be as humble as u could ever be and pray they give u another appointment. I got there around 10 mins to 7 and I was able to meet with that oga around 7:15. I pleaded with him that I arrived b4 7 not knowing it has be like 30 mins b4. He has already attended to two other student visa applicants asking where I was when he was tending to them. With my persistence though, he agreed to allow me arrange my documents. I asked him I will do that in a minute but he gave me 10 mins instead stating he would have to report me to head of visa or thereabout. Luckily for me I was able to do dat in less than two mins and he was really amazed and laughed at me. I guess olohun bami kosi ninu. All in all, lets try to get there atleast 30 mins b4.

There is something I don't understand about Royal Air Maroc. Their departure is 6 am. How do you arrange to be at the airport at least 3 hrs before that time which is 3am.

Stay in a hotel overnight, stay with friends/family close to airport overnight, sleep in airport carpark overnight or star driving down in the middle of the night.

I think April when enrollment for summer semester might have ended. Submit your application as soon as application opens, send your signed form with fast courier service and pay sharply; you can even do that before applying.

Romance Uni-assist to send it ASAP (they don't delay though) and mail your school, explaining what happened to you last time out. Some schools do offer admission before application deadline if you meet all requirements.

Just an OT wink grin

My interview on Monday was as long as Kim Kardasian's eye lashes; probably the longest one hour of my life grin

Got to the Consulate around 6:30, as I was approaching everywhere just clear, seconds later people just start trooping towards the entrance out of nowhere, I just sharply shunt jeje and I was able to get a seat on that waiting deck after the Security checked us in.

The frontdesk man gave us checklist to arrange our documents. We did in less than 5 minutes, instead of us to call his attention, we were there gisting grin By the time we got back to him, it was almost 8 o'clock and he started questioning us "I'm sure you were not waiting for me, tell me, what were you waiting for?" I sha know he can't send 4 of us away grin

Got into the interview room around 8:05, the data capturing was completed by 8:14. I picked up the receiver at 8:15 and interview ended by 9:15. Whew! But in all, no big deal about it, sometimes I have to slow down for the VO to catch up while typing my responses. That I think contributed to the longevity

The questions asked are not different from what has been posted in the thread. When I finished mentioning the countries surrounding Germany, she be like "What's the capital of Poland? Denmark?" I was like Ẹ gbàmí kẹ̀, I wasn't expecting that, I told her I can't remember cheesy
Pointers:
* Germany's president elect.
* Go with every relevant documents for just in case (she asked about my CGPA, I had to show her my transcript as a proof, the "questionnaire for verification of Nigerian documents" was not collected, but I submitted my signed copy of the declaration; I don't want to waste their paper grin)
* Be there latest by 6:30, shunt if you have to, cos I think student visa appointments are the earliest; being there very put you in pole position.
* Locate other Student visa applicants if you can and stay together on the queue if possible.
* Get details about your intended course, your Bachelor's Degree too if going for masters (we spent the latter part of the interview talking about my B.A)
* Please don't give that frontdesk man any reason to embarrass, delay or send you away. I was sent back twice last year while trying to open blocked account, God has a way of doing His things sha.

This is my submission. I hope it helps someone.
Waiting with bated breath for the visa approval.

Don't send your original to uni-assist or any school in hard copy form. That is why we always advise people to read the past pages in order to know more about basic things needed. You will only send certified copy of your documents and not original. Shalom
