Maybe it was the laptop battery that got expoleded. Manufacturers do warn not to place laptop on the lap.

My mum has been warning me of this yet I won't listen...
Children of today, when being instructed or advised by elders, always jetison the advise believing they knows better. Sometimes this advise comes off in dream or similar thing might have occurred of which the elder may have been privy to such info. This guy may have been warned too but kept deaf ear to such warnings. This is now the result. May he Rest In Peace.

This is a mystery. A technical audit and investigation should be carried out to ascertain the conditions that could make a laptop explode. Because i wont lie to you, we are all endangered if this reoccurs again.

His parents should sue the Laptop manufacturer.

That's a severe electrocution burn. He died from electrocution. That's an entry burn.
