I was curious to know how attentive you listen to your spouse especially when they are trying to tell you a story or something that happened at work while you are doing something else. It happens that my wifey always got a so-called sweet gist each time i'm trying to watch a game or the movies. I put one eye on her and the other one on the game and grunts like im really up for the gist. If you no listen na wahala...women sef

Why can't she wait to gist you after the game or film. "Baby, I really wanna give you my undivided attention but I really want to watch this first " should be enough for an adult to understand. Then later you approach her and remind her to tell you that gist. I hate it when someone pretends to be listening to me but they're not. It is a waste of my energy. This only works if you are not a television addict always watching something or another.

There's time for everything under the sky.

If she's been used to gists with her sisters from her fathers house or her female friends that they gossip together, she may not be sensitive enough to know that her husband may not have same family background orientation. She would expect answers immediately as usual.
