I am not trying to condemn anyone with this post, or judge any set of people, I just want to know. Why do some teenage girls (18plus) like older guys? Okay, let me speak on what made me ask this question.

In January, one of my friends invited me for his 30th birthday party. I was in a very depressed state at the time, and had planned not to attend, but then another of my friends showed up at my house and voluntered to drive me to the party and drop me back at home afterwards. So, I got dressed and reluctantly went for the party. The moment I stepped into the gate, I noticed this particular girl staring at me. I judged she was probably 21 (I later found out she was 19), and I deem any girl at least above 20 approachable (I am 31), but I just wasn't in the mood at all that day.

This girl kept staring at me when I was eating, drinking, walking to greet my friend's parents. I started feeling bad for not trying to strike up a conversation. Anyway, when I got a little liquor in my system, I pulled up this other girl that had served me jollof rice and started dancing. After about 5 minutes of dancing, she excused herself and came back with that girl that had been staring at me. She said the girl was a better dancer than her, and the dancing begun.

Anyway, to cut the long story short, me and the girl started talking and I got her number, and we got close and she told me how much she fancied me and we laughed about how she had been staring at me. And then the age thing came up and I told her I wasn't too comfortable dating someone her age. And she wanted to stat crying, telling me how one of her friends at the party had told her I was too old for her but that she had quarreled with the girl because she didn't care about my age.

Anyway, we were friends for a while, she came over to my place a couple of times, but nothing really happened because I just wasn't comfortable with her age, but she on the other hand was super chill about the whole thing. So, I am just wondering, what makes some girls attracted to older guys and some repulsed by older guys?

We've always heard that girls develop faster than guys, that's y the younger girls always feel connected to the older guys not their agemates in most cases. I guess it's nature that has defined it like that.

What of in my own case? Did you read my story? The girl was clearly attracted to me physically, and not because she felt I had money, which I clearly still don't have a lot of anyway.
