If I tell you 'I am going Oshodi', it means Oshodi and it's locale is my destination. When I get to Oshodi, my statement will change to present tense ( I am at Oshodi), and when I leave the place, I will use past tense to describe my journey to Oshodi. (I was at Oshodi).

'Going to' is future tense. '30 years' is the destination, much like 'Oshodi' was the destination in my illustration. Heading/Going to-FUTURE. Not yet there.it hasn't happened.

Meaning the divorce isn't yet up to 30 years, but it is heading there.

Rev Otobo corroborated his claims when he said 'She was very small', meaning the lady could have been anywhere from 0-5 years when he divorced her mum, which of course means Steph is under 30 years.

The father said his daughter is 'twenty something', and the divorce is heading to 30 years, meaning it isn't yet 30, which clearly means the divorce is also 'twenty something' years.

I hear you, i was thinking the same but later changed my mind on it and took it as loopholes,, am not sure but i thought stephanie said she is 23, and i believe her father spoke out of anger, also you don't expect him to support his daughter, dating or not, her involvement with a married man was enough reason for him sever his relationship with her.
