Dabiri-Erewa said that the warning became imperative due to series of reports her office has received in recent times .

I am surprised a lot of people kept quiet on the issue of the useless Minister who doesn't have first hand info on travellers but decided to believe the Ambassador who will only have something positive to say about his country.

Abike was right after all with the advice, it is not her duty to speak to Nigerians on Foreign travels but if an incompetent Minister isn't doing his job right then someone has to take up that responsibility.

Shame on all the tribalist from the gully erosion ravaged land. She is the one all your drug trafficking brothers are running to for help in India,Asia and SA why didn't they run to your Igbo Minister y'all support.

The US doesn't care if he's related to one Tuface or he sang sometime before. Is he a US citizen or permanent resident? Does he have legal rights to live in the US? Has he violated some of their laws while he was in Virginia? If not, then they have rights to enforce their laws on visa holders they don't feel should be allowed in their country.

Though, I kind of like this development because I can still remember Nigeria Christians wanting Trump to win the presidential election just because he promised to deny Muslims entry into the USA and even chase many away. Now, everyone is a victim, is that not good for everyone?
As it is now, it is either you don't travel out of USA or they lock you out completely.

It was generlist and didn't answer the main position of our dear Mrs dabiri.

They didn't give reasons why Visas might have been cancelled (AT point of entry to. USA)!
That's what the SSA. Was querrying.

People are being turned back @ the Airports with no official reason why! Do u know how much tickets Cost?

I googled it but couldn't find it, pls show me a link to verify the embassy's reply.

If he lives in Virginia with his family then that means he has permanent residence and probably just visited Nigeria briefly, so he should tell us the real reason he was refused entry.

His on PAROLE( just a document that allows him to leave the united states and return, while his Green card application is still Pending).

He shouldn't have left the states. The boy for wait make them give am green card first

Like there no uncountable USA citizens with huge criminal records? May be they're expecting foreigners to be a living being with no stain, right? The crime rate in USA alone surpassed those of many countries put together.
You don't have to defend the victims but at the same time, you don't have to give reasons for the USA government action, it is a campaign based policy.

Because I emailed the US border patrol a few weeks ago and they said that there is nothing stopping me from entering the US except a criminal record which, if severe only, they might need to take action. I live in the US but I want to go to London for vacation this summer and I have a green card. Just reading all these news and they are quite scary .
Don't thank him yet because clearly, he doesn't know anything about the guy in question. All what he said up there was just his opinion, product of his own conjectures and imagination. If you too travel out of the USA and denied reentery, this guy will come up one story on why you're denied.
My advice for you, don't travel for now. And don't believe USA immigration office.

Give it more time, it will soon clear for your eyes who was right between the two government officials. Now, it is coming out steadily, just wait a little bit more. Abike Dabiri we know, trust and believe because she has always been there for Nigerians in diaspora. But Onyeama, which bush did she come from?

The guy made an error in his composition, he meant if YES, not if NOT, I honestly think people should start giving reasons for being denied, and not just come and say i was denied entry. This way they can help others not to make the same mistake, also so they don't discourage genuine people from pursuing their dreams!
