What EXACTLY has the American embassy in Nigeria assured travelers from our country?
Kindly note that it was the embassy that gave the CLARIFICATION.
I hope that you are smart enough to answer.

What must people don't know is that holding a valid visa doesn't guarantee you entrance into any country. The boarder officer has the final say and his stamp on your passport is the final stage of your clearance into any country.
The issue of denying entrance into USA and other country has always been there but most people don't come out to say it on social media.
I was once denied entry into UK because I didn't have my bank statement and enough physical cash to show the boarder officer that I have money to spend, although I have my bank cards with me but was not enough. They even called the airline to confirm my return ticket. This was not my first time to UK, I was holding a 5years visa this is to tell you I have been to UK more than 10times.
I was qanlatine in Malaysia because I didn't have my yellow card and they were ready to denied me entry, Thank God I found the reciept of the payment for the immunisation in my purse and I show them I took the injection but I don't have my card because I most have left it at home.
They wanted to see physical evidence. My advise to anyone traveling, carry all your supporting documents and have expert knowledge what you do, your employer, employment, your invitee and the company you are visiting. Products knowledge of your business should be at your fingertips. Do not answer with a yes or no, give your interviewer or boarder immigration officer 5 to 10 seconds detailed answer to his questions.
From my experience, I have been to more than 20 countries there must be something he missed while answering to questions from the immigration boarder. This has nothing to do with the travel ban.

ICE officers have been deporting Dreamers en masse and their parents daily and you are unaware. Please stop wearing ignorance like a badge.

I dont know how old you are but Abike's credentials as a person involved in human interest stories span over two decades and remain rock solid. Abike from her time as a journalist has been involved in grassroot stories for over 20years.

Whereas Onyeama was born privileged and has remained out of touch with those on the street. Any smart person will read between the lines on reading his reply. "No Nigerian with valid visa to US has been turned back" and he said he was told this by the US Ambassador! Ridiculous. Thats analagous to claiming you were slapped at a police station, then a call is made to the Commissioner who casually refutes it. How the heck does the US ambassador in Nigeria know who is refused entry to US and who is not off the top of his head.

I expected Onyeama would have called our Immigration boss whose boys would have first hand info if such incidents were occuring as they would have processed such individuals on their return.

I don't need to answer your question to prove my smartness to you as the statement is insultive.
I'm not going in or out of USA. If you feel save based on whatever American embassy in Nigeria said, good luck to you. I'm just concerned about anyone living in the State who is likely to be trapped out of the State based on deceptive assurance. As Mrs Dabiri said, the current administration policy on immigration is not yet clear and we all know that. A word is enough for the wise.

It's only parole that can permit them to refuse him entry. If his on LPR( legal permanent residence/green card) they can't refuse him entry.

He shouldn't have left the united states, now that Trump is tackling immigration. He should have stayed put, till he gets his LPR/green card.
