Now see what a nuiscance u and ur manipulative pen have turn him to

2. Shivani - God, i hate this girl eh, even if HATRED has got a price tag and its ready for auction, am ready to outbid the highest bidder just to buy enough HATEs so that i can professionaly and Legally hate her without any consequences.. Chumzy, u introduce her to us, as a woman of self exteem buh now, c wat u and ur Pen hav turn her to? A MOTHER's Sissy... I hate her, to say the least..

Yes fam24 domestic violence is everywhere and we or they as writers must write about it to create more awareness and show how bad it is. How will someone stay in a loveless marriage without sex chai without fucking sex. I don die had i been i was one of the wife thank God its a story sha. Ehen theblessedman what i would say is u cant tell a,writer the direction or how he or she writes his or her story. Take chimamada Adichie purple hibiscus for example heck Eugene is a lamb in the Church and a lion at home isnt that one from USA to AFGHANISTAN

My dearest dear, am not telling her what to do or what to write.. Am just telling the consequences.. Just like the law doesn't tel u not to become a Gay, once they catch u 4 one dark corner they do Sodom and Gommorah, u don know say na to go do 14yrs honeymoon 4 Kuje prison..

And the warning at my own Darousmart petro station doesn't ask u not to smoke behind the petrol tank, but once u do, and u turn am to hell fire, just go and bring all ur generations yet unborn to start working for free at the next 300 new ones am gonna build..

Tradition....
'i am so disappointed in you Dike Ikemba!' Martins fumed 'how could you do such a thing? How?'

Dike rubbed his forehead vigorously. He knew he was going to regret it. It wasnt his thing to hurt women. He never liked hurting women. If anything he loved treating them with respect. But now...he had been forced to do something really terrible to Chinny out of annoyance.

'when Dora called me yesternight complaining about your attitude, i never thought it'd get to this extent, what da Bleep is wrong with you?!'

'will you calm down and lemme explain?'

'explain what? That you've been a dick'

'yeah' Dike accepted resignedly 'maybe i've been a dick. Maybe i really am a dick'

'a big one at that'

'i didnt know what came over me. I really had a bad day'

'oh please! And you had to take it out on Chinny?'

'she was being a blabbermouth and...'

'you be quiet this instant Dike!'

'alright'

Martins fumed and kept ranting.

'i'll make it up to her' Dike said 'i promise'

'you'd better do'

***
Dike dropped by a jewelry shop. He needed to get something for Chinny. He didnt know why he was doing this but he knew that this time, he had gone overboard. What had come over him in the first place?!

He turned off the ignition, picked up his wallet and alighted the car. DD Jewellers was owned by his mom's friend. Another blabbermouth, even worse than Chinny. He just hoped he didnt have to see in there.

As he entered the air-conditioned store, he sighted a familiar figure on the counter, obviously paying for whatever she purchased. He would remember who he saw just the previous day no matter what. He just stood staring.

She looked elegant from behind. She was on a plain blue jumpsuit which hugged her figure so much from behind.

He didnt realise he was ogling till she turned and his eyes met with her hazel eyes. He saw recognition in her eyes. But she looked away as quickly as she had turned.

He was even more shocked when he realised she had come with his mum!

Bloody hell!

Why hadnt he taken note of her entourage from outside? Gosh!

'son?' Geez! His mother finally saw him 'over here!'

He went closer with a smile plastered on his face 'hey mum' He pecked her on both cheeks.

'what a surprise to see you here really. What'd you come here for?' His mother asked.

'i...i came to purchase something for Chinny. I...its her birthday' He lied. He wouldnt tell her about her shameless he had been the previous night. His mother would be so disappointed in him.

'wow! Thats so caring of you. You're finally behaving matured. Anyway, i suppose you already met Shivani. She's gonna be your bride tomorrow so you cant stop ogling her already' His mother chuckled. That was when he realised his eyes had actually rested on Shivani for way too long.

'i..uh,' he diverted his eyes immediately 'i...met her already. She's...beautiful? Yeah, she's pretty'

'i'm glad you realise that. She's going to give you a very beautiful child. I just hope you treat her well. Shower her with love and gifts. She's a treasure. I love her already. Infact, i brought her here to purchase jewelries for the marriage tomorrow'

'oh'

'maybe i should leave the both of you to talk for a while. I'll be at DD's office okay?' He nodded 'Shivani dearie, have fun' Her mother laughed and left.

He turned his gaze to Shivani. Then he swallowed 'hi'

'hi you too'

There was an uncomfortable silence between them 'i...'

'i'm sorry about yesterday' She tried to smile 'i shouldnt have spoken to you that way. I was a bit rude'

He just smiled 'so, your sister aint taking your place anymore?'

She looked down shyly 'no, i dont think so'

'i love your dress. It looks nice on you'

'thanks'

'you look beautiful today' He slapped himself. What was wrong with him? He never showered a woman with too much compliments.

'thanks. You look handsome today'

He smiled again 'so its tomorrow right?'

'yeah, tomorrow'

He looked at the showcase where the various jewelries lay 'uhm..i'm a bit confused as to which jewelry to pick for my third wife, Chinemerem. I'm really not good at stuffs like this. Would you help me please'

She grimaced 'you mean i should help you pick a jewelry for your wife?'

'yeah please?'

'uh...alright'

'i'm sure your taste would be great seeing how sophisticated you are'

She blushed 'thanks. You've just been showering me with compliments and its making me shy'

He just shrugged.

They walked to the showcase together, inspecting them.

'what do you think about this one?' He asked pointing a gold necklace with a heart-shaped pendant.

'uh. I think its too simple'

'really?'

'yeah'

'what about this one?' He pointed at another.

'it looks regular and not fashionable. You should get her something exotic. How about this one?' She pointed at a diamond chain with a ruby 'its magnificent!!' She gasped.

'yeah' he chuckled 'i extremely love it. I wonder why i didnt see it first'

'thats because you have no eyes for good things' They laughed.

'i'll get two'

Yes, let create more awareness about domestic violence and its consequence. We should not just talk about it and overlook it. The offenders should not go unpunished. Sorry doesn't take away the pain. It should not be a case of 'the perpetrator has changed, go and sin no more.'
The abnormalities in our societies should be corrected through fiction. #My opinion

Aww. He already can't stop staring at her. But no girl likes being asked to pick out jewellery for another woman that isn't your mother or your sister. Trust me, it's downright annoying.
