Ronaldo De Lima was special. I would be crazy to deny his abilities. As a matter for fact he is one of my favourite strikers of all time.
Connecting Mbappe to legends like Ronaldo and the rest is easy because he certainly have the talent in folds.
Am particularly excited about his prospects because he's African.

By the way, Mbappe is likened to Henry than Ronaldo because they both started out as Wing forwards. While Ronaldo is a typical no 9.

I have seen too many brilliant young talents to get excited with what I am seeing in Mbappe. As I said, discipline and Hardwork is what he needs because more prolific talents than him did not reach the level of Henry and Ronaldo De Lima.

Overmars, Edgar davids, Dennis bergkamp, Seedorf, Frank/Ronald De boer, Patrick Kluivert, etc.... The golden age of dutch football. PSV led by Ronaldo won the league ahead a strong Ajax side.

Look at the names in that period to have a valid comparison.

The Dutch league was a one horse race at the time. Just like what you have in Scotland and Switzerland today.
Apart from Ajax and maybe PSV, the rest of the league were part timers.

I Dont know about Ajax winning the champions league twice in a row. However, down the years we have seen teams from leagues with one dominant side ride the champions league.
We can say that about Bayern Munich, Seria A these days with Juventus.
Ajax did well in the champions league, not because of the strength of their league, but because they benefited from a talent boom from their Academy and they recruited very wisely from around Europe and Africa,like Lithmanen, Kanu, Finidi.
If the gods favour Basel and Celtic like Ajax, they will walk the champions league irrespective of their opposition in the league.

Ronaldo did not win the league at PSV. What He won was the equivalent of the FA cup. They call it the KNVB cup not the Dutch league please.

Bayern is not in a poor league, Neither is Juventus. They might be better than their rivals but their rivals also play at a high standard.

Once in the final could be as a result of luck but twice in the final, back to back shows a truly world-class team. You do not become a world class team playing part-timers every week.

Abeg leave matter, there's no competition in Germany. Let's not kid ourselves. Bayern can afford to buy up the best players from each of the 18 teams in the Bundesliga.
The German league is structured that Bayern have the first refusal on every German player in the Bundesliga. Please let's not go there.

What competition in Seria A? A league where Juventus can afford to win the championship even if they were handicapped - 15 points before the league kicks off.
