Female bosses are quite terrible to deal with. My boss doesn't see any good in anyone. She feels if a document has not received her blessing, such document can't be shared with the client - regardless of how inconsequential the document is. Recently, i was due to share a deck with the client and she's been on and off the office due to ill health. That day, she came to the office but couldn't stay back for long because of her condition. So i decided to go meet her at the parking lot to seek her consent on whether or not to send the deck; before her driver heads for home. Surprisingly, she requested i bring my laptop so she can review - i was completely blown apart. Here is someone who looks as though she was dying. I did oblige her though but that was after spending over 20mins at the office before stepping out with my laptop. I mean, who does that? At the point of death and still couldn't pass something up?? This is just one of the many experiences of working with female bosses. They are control freaks, they want to be respected;(my boss would rather you call her mrs, not her name) The only opinion that matters is theirs, they talk down on people and believe everyone is shit, insecure, gossip a whole lot and feels every man has an ego problem; therefore, they need to be subdued. Did i mention my boss loves to send people on needless errands?: pls help me carry my bag, shoes, laptop etc. Sending grown ass men on stupid errands!! Working with female bosses is something i would possibly have to pay through my nose not to do anymore. It can potentially lead to depression and lacking in self belief, if you are not mentally tough.

For me, I won't pray to have any female boss again. First one: was so nice but made sexual advances- I resisted and got a mixture of respect and hatred. Second one: nags over everything and abuses anybody at will. Third one: Made same advances like the first one. I accepted, enjoyed every package to the fullest. I was eventually hated and lost my pride as well.... The truth!

All these puss.uy a.s..s boys here crying wolf about female bosses are just jealous of successful women.

Their use.less ego will only allow them reason through their an..us.

Female bosses are the best. Male bosses do not know anything.

The male bosses only walk around the office looking for workers to sleep with , and only to sack them if they dnt agree.
I hate male bosses.
Please read the comments again, you will see the male heaping praises on their female boss while the female dose the opposite.

That is the worse part. Women, when staying together, maybe meeting places or any other gathering, they appear to like/love each order. Let any woman contest any elective position, no other woman will vote for her. Thier hate for one another is very high.

Been having headaches on how to just round up and get out of her department. I don't really like to use harsh words to describe people but this woman deserves anything I use on her right now. I'm so pained! angry

The first job I got was a female boss, her problem was too much that she can afford to deep hands in the daily sales I realised for her without allowing me to do d proper accounting for her, anytime I tell her d amount she had taken per day she would ask me when and how did she took it. Thank God I always keep my record then as a relationship manager.
I quit that job and got another one after d interview as I was about to start d new job, it was another female boss, my brother I immediately quit d job.
thank God am free from them. am now d boss of my own work.

I can't dispute your experience tho, but I will tell you that in Nigeria here o, on the average, female bosses are more terrible than male bosses. They are good ones on both sides tho.

And many women (and men too) complaining about female bosses in our country is no coincidence.

Just saying

And your conclusions are a based on what? A survey? Or a bunch of whiny people who can't deal with having a woman as a boss?

People are bad bosses because they are bad people, not because of their gender.

Lol...this topic i could relate with.Working with women is a different kettle of fish, especially if you are to sit and deliberate on management issues. Many of those ive had encouter with who are in senior positions are just intoxicated by piwer.Raise a contrary opinnion, they twist the whole scene to become gender inequality issue.." is it because im a woman, bla bla bla".
The last female supervisor i worked with had it from me before i resigned, that day i lost it and was ready for detention. Was almost grabbing her by her yeye weavone to yank it off forcefully with my bare hand
lwith the rubbish she was vomiting, thinking il be like her husband she shouts at in the office.

Anyway what ive also discovered with female bosses is this: The younger they are the more problematic they become, and the older they become they become much easier to relate with. As male colleagues or surbodinates. Just be , humble, cool and calm to respond to their hormonal disparages ( the older ones o), especially when they begin to raise their voices.

Women could really be difficult to effectively work with particularly when they possess so much authority and power, however with the help of other female colleagues, one could get to know their weak point and manage them. But some are just Jezebel reincarnate...BWP Bit.ches With Problems.

Female bosses are this and that, it's all in your heads dear.
Women have already been preconditioned to believe women hate themselves, that's the problem some of you have.

My boss is a woman, older than my husband and single!
Normally, people would say with all those characteristics, she would be 'angry'_ but she isn't. She is the best thing to happen to me. The male superior couldn't even teach me one thing, all he knows how to do is stare at my ass.

The only thing I can agree with is, female bosses pay lots of attention to detail. It's one of their God given qualities, so...they tend to push people over the edge to get things done. Of course, since she is female_ it would be misinterpreted to mean, women are this and that.

I have a dream, to one day be at the very top. Any man that can't deal with it, should fuk off! Life is a whole lot more, than pleasing people with pricks... because I have noticed it's males that complain most. Most men can't naturally deal with having a woman lead them_ useless ego.

'letting women?'
You go stop them before?
henryobinna:
nice topic.

I'm not/trying to be a misogynist, but letting women occupy a very high position... has proven many times not to be a good decision.
from higher institutions to work place/offices/firms.

I know there are a good number of women who are good especially the God-fearing ones, I mean real GOD fearing not demons that go to church and preach the Bible.

it's only a woman that'll rush straight to slap a young man because he talks back at her while she's the boss/at the top.

I know men(some but a good number) do ask for/take bribe and also ask some females for sex( and all that) but it's only a womam that'll be demanding a full grown adult(with family)who's not her son to call her mummy. or even some other things.

Or do women have "male ego" ?

Very useless ego.
I pity the women that have allowed the society brainwash them into thinking women hate themselves. That's where issues like this come from, you naturally become uptight around a female boss. Women are very sensitive, she feels it and launches a counter-attack.

Why won't some females be unhappy, when only them cook, clean, prepare kids for school. Maybe the husband na community dick on top_ her emotions will be flying all around grin.

If all the male superior does is gawk vacuously at your ãss, then that can only mean you've got haunches as round and finely sculpted as the one in the photo below.
Now, it wouldn't be fair to heap blame upon a man for his innocent response to lip-smacking stimuli and his harmless appreciation of Mother Nature's sweet artistry, would it? grin
