SIRcumalot:Who are the Power Forwards better than him. Secondly who OKC get wey dey Aldridge level? I'll wait Ibaka is still a very useful player. Suggesting he was not a loss for OKC is being economical with the truth. The Magic traded him because they were unsure he would stay. Not because of his play Kawhi might be a lockdown defender but can he create? Who would feed the role players? Whether e dey pad or not no really concern me. The numbers don't lie. OKC wins 82% of the games he scores a triple double in. |

Eruditor:Brother projections are done based on potentials and previous stats of the players in the team. We've said it here time and again that opinions change with every passing game. > Who would have projected that Curry would struggle soo badly this season? (what we now infamously refer to as mental > Who would have projected that Cavs would even entertain a discussion on possibly sacrificing top spot for play off longetivity. > Who would have projected that WB would be on a crazy roll of TDs (though leftists say he pads the stats) Long story short, pre-season projections shouldn't form part of judgment or fulcrum of argument. This has been a rather interesting season and the playoffs may yet bring more surprises. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 6:52pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
A40:That wasn't not the terms Na your top 5 be This. AD,blake, dray, milsap, love,Blake porzingod am sure am leaving some people out. I'll spin it the other way round can WB lock up your opponent best scorer ? kawhi can, He can't create for others, big deal they have someone who can. he can create for himself though. They traded him away because he wasn't good and didn't want to waste money. Nobody is calling him useless his just not very important to what OKC and the magic is doing the fact that his going to leave doesn't mean anything because the Nets will take anybody that can dribble the ball. So the magic Had to save face. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 7:22pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Na wa oh. You even mention Blake twice. Life anagaga oh. How are Porzingis and Millsap better than Aldridge? Even Love. Westbrook is a decent defender but that aside. Westbrook has to score, create and still play defense. I have asked which team would cope better. OKC or San Antonio in the event Westbrook and Kawhi go down. Who in that OKC team is as good as Aldridge? Do you even know OKC's backup Point Guard? Ibaka was Orlando's 3rd best scorer. There is a reason Raptors went for him and not Brooklyn Nets. Orlando did not trade Ibaka for lack of ability. Do your research mate |

A40:I should be asking you to do research. What do the nets have to give for ibaka? I already told you the magic aren't ready to pay ibaka and they had to recoup some thing because of what they gave up. Because they all are better and if you are asking me even love? I dont know what to say anymore. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:10pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:How can projections not be pivotal to the argument? Pundits and experts looked at teams based on personnel and projected their season expectations based on what they observed. One team is punching way way above what experts projected but the player majorly responsible for that should not be the MVP - it should be another player whose team is either underperforming or at best performing at the level that was expected of them simply because he is averaging triple doubles? See I ignored the Curry aspect? Curry's stats are better than it was when he won his first MVP title yet his "fan boys" never called him the MVP. It is played out for his "non-fan boys" to keep bringing him in. This is about Harden and WB. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 9:12pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
"Ooh his assists are so difficult because his players are scrubs. If he had better players he would have been arguing 15-20 assists a game". Yea, right. He had Harden and KD once. Did he average 20 assists then? |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:42pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:ol boy, Eruditor no like that kid for nothing. You go think say he pass this curry Westbrook Durant matter .He said 20 assists lol, like bruh, that was his 2nd or third year in the league. Anyways sha, The warriors choked on a 3 - 1 lead. That one still they pepper me. |

SIRcumalot:www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/18683715/orlando-magic-agree-deal-serge-ibaka-toronto-raptors-terrence-ross-1st-round-pick They were ready to pay but unsure Ibaka would stay. If you go drop zobo make you dey look face. All the teams hustling to land Ibaka were playoff contenders. You can see the Raptors gave away a player and their first round pick for next season. That is what you typically do for a player in demand Na your own opinion be that. If you like you can tell us better. Ofe l'ohun |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 11:44pm On Mar 18, 2017 |
Donlittle:Lol. Has nothing to do with my dislike for him. He is having an incredible season and I think he has been the best player- according to stats. I have said so consistently. However, if the debate is about who the MVP is I think it is rather simplistic to water it down to averaging triple doubles. That's all. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 1:33am On Mar 19, 2017 |
the cavs just pulled a warriors move. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 3:57am On Mar 19, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:You just no like us sha. That move has been a Pop's move for a long time now and Cavs have been exploring it since the season started rested Irving, James and Love like they aren't paid enough. We pulled the move once and it's no longer Cavs or Spurs move. I wish we dumped that 73-9 and rested a lot last season ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SIRcumalot: 4:28am On Mar 19, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:It was just a light joke bro no need for all this. I should've added a smiley face. what the cavs just did today bad pass wetin warrior do last week. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:36am On Mar 19, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:And got tanked ![]() Well, Eruditor going by your definition of MVP, the Cavs have been unable to win without James. He is their MVP and see, they sit pretty and easy atop the conference. So James deserves the season MVP, yeah? yeah! ![]() |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:42am On Mar 19, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:My guy you too sabi book, go easy man, let's watch your game together ![]() Half time and its already a rout, I say Kerr should rest the entire first unit for the 4th quarter. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 5:16am On Mar 19, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:I no sabi anything The game isn't that interesting sef SIRcumalot:You understand but these Cavs fan won't hesitate to say the same thing tomorrow when we decide to rest guys. Just clearing it up. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:49am On Mar 19, 2017 |
sapiosexual1:An argument can be made for him and I said so (I said he has an outside chance). Unfortunately, 2 things work against him; 1. He has won it 4 times 2. His team is pretty much achieving what everyone expected of them or maybe even slightly underperforming so there is not much spark to it. For someone like LBJ to win it again, he would need to do outrageous numbers at an equally outrageous efficiency and Cavs will need to win 70+ games etc. Won't happen. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:51am On Mar 19, 2017 |
Me I am just happy we have gone back to blowing teams out ![]() I didn't watch the game though. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 6:54am On Mar 19, 2017 |
SmooshCHN:I am not buying that argument that people made last time that our 73-9 season made us not to win a ring. We simply choked. We were 3-1 up. There is absolutely no excuse for it. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:24am On Mar 19, 2017 |
Eruditor:Aite boss. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:41pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
SIRcumalot:Chale why you dey ask me JAMB question now? I have shown you Orlando moved Ibaka because he gave no firm commitment he would stay and as you can see from their trade history they had lost too much to let Ibaka walk for nothing |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:57pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
Something needs to be done about this resting business. And no I'm not saying this because its the Cavs but imagine you are a fan who paid hard earned money for tickets or a bettor. I mean its not that you choose to rest players that's the issue its that these Cavs waited till the last phuckin minute to announce it |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:23pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
SmooshCHN I heard KD was practising jumpers yesterday and that he would ride with the team to Oklahoma. I know he won't play but it seems he will return before the playoffs. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:04pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
A40:Main stream media are a part of this resting problem. Remember when Pop decided to rest his stars on a nationally televised game and he was forced by the NBA to provide valid medical reasons as REST was not cogent enough. Mainstream media heckled Pop for weeks, well the man worked with his medical team and came up with unbelievable diagnosis. Last week, Kerr decided to do the same and the same media heckled his decision, which I think was right considering the slump in performance by his star players. This week Lue and the Cavs decides to rest 3 on a nationally televised game and the NBA has pretended like nothing happened. Nothing has come from the league office p, JVG was the only one who gave the CAVs a stick for such disrespect to the game. This season's play has been the best in 2 years in my opinion, especially in the eastern conference, however, ratings for the NBA has continued to slump in comparison to other major sports and this issue is a factor, especially nationally televised games. |

| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:05pm On Mar 19, 2017 |
Roland17:I notice the Spurs tend to give advance warning plus the age factor is also there. I don't blame teams for resting players, the scheduling is abysmal and some games you pretty much have to circle as L's before stepping on the court but boy would I be pissed if I bought tickets to see Bron, Irving and Love only for me to be told at the lastest possible minute that they would be rested |
