In western societies, marriage has no advantages for men. Talkless of divorce, she takes his house, takes half of all he is worth, takes the children, and he would pay her monthly fees for her upkeep and the child....

If Nigerian laws make marriage like that, no Nigerian man would marry for life.

But I wonder why someone will make a decision that can lead to regret later, marriage is a serious venture ones has to get guidance from God before making decision,love is never enough there are other important factors like what you share in common which guarantees a long lasting relationship, there is a thin line between love and hate that's why you need God's leading, have seen situations where things began wonderfully well but ended terribly bad, people major on the minor things and minor on major things... may God help us
