The Bible says that we can't, but I often think what life would be like without the Genesis curse. Imagine fruit trees and plants growing up with the energy of weeds. Imagine no pain, aging, suffering, disease and death.

One thing that helps me is to put aside the nebulous image of Heaven that most of us have, and to realize that God's Kingdom is physically coming to this earth (literally Heaven on earth), and His Will will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. We get to inherit this earth. God is gifting it to us; and it won't be as it is with its weeds, animals killing animals, its earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, etc.

Think of the most beautiful field of flowers, white-sanded beaches with clear blue water teeming with schools of bright yellow fish, of rows of fruit trees, amazing animals like the tall giraffe and the panda bear, of water falls, massive white clouds. Got it? Now toss them out as trash, compared to the things that God has prepared for those that love Him.

I rarely talk about this issue, and when I do it's not to argue with Sabbath-keepers. It's to make sure Christians don't get tangled up in their deception and in the bondage of legalism. Those who insist that others (besides themselves) should keep the Jewish Sabbath cannot point to even one verse in the New Testament where Christians are commanded to keep the Sabbath. If our salvation depended on resting on a certain day, then you would think that God would have taken the time to tell us, "Remember to keep the Sabbath holy." But it's not there, and any reference to it is negative—saying not to let any man tell you what day to keep, etc. I have found that Sabbath-keepers rarely plead with the unsaved to get right with God. Instead, they try and lay the Law on the backs of Christians to try and take away the liberty they have in Christ and steal their joy. So I gently ban them. This is because scripture tells me to avoid strivings about the Law.

You call liars generally good people? What makes liars better than thieves since they generally go together? What's the difference with the person who steals 1 naira and the person who steals 10 thousand naira from the bank, are they not all called thieves? Likewise, all liars, it doesn't matter whether it is little or white lies, If the law says all liars shall end up in hell fire then you will have to believe Him or else you will be calling God a liar. DAMNED THROUGH LYING

TEXT: JEREMIAH 20:1-6

"And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou hast prophesied lies" (Jeremiah 20:6).

"Show me a man who is habitually or frequently a liar and you show me a man who will have his portion in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone. I do not care to which denomination of Christians he may belong. I am sure he is none of Christ's. And it is very sad to know that there are some in all fellowships, who have this great and grievous fault that you cannot trust them in what they say", said Charles H. Spurgeon.

The people of Israel had forsaken God and had gone into idolatry; they had also built high places for other gods where their sons were offered in sacrifices. Jeremiah was sent by God to warn the people of the impending wrath of God. Instead of repentance, their leader, Pashur, convinced the people with lies and hardened their hearts. He got a change of name and God's judgment to witness the fulfilment of the prophecy and to die in exile.

For some people today, lying is an insignificant offence. They lie and call it white, black, diplomatic, political and convenient lies. Spouses lie to one another, children to parents and vice-versa. Politicians lie to get cheap votes and renege on their electioneering promises. The most absurd is that the trend is now visible in the house of God. Some Christians cannot be trusted because they tell lies to increase and sustain their membership. Others tell lies for what they will gain.

As a true believer, you must seek the Spirit of Truth – the Holy Ghost - Who will guide you into all truth. Also, you need to abide in what you already know in Christ. The coming of the Lord is at hand. Therefore, do not allow the spirit of lies to deprive you of your sonship right and make you to miss heaven.

God did it that way for our own sake. He could have done it all in a second but He wanted us to work for 6 days and rest on the 7th. He didn't need to rest just as He didn't need to "observe evenings and mornings" before He recorded it for us.

Bundy did accept Jesus before his execution and Schweitzer did not accept Jesus as being divine. It is simple. Supposing you have two debtors owing up to £20 trillion each. The first person (A) believes he can pay back his debt while working at £20 per hour. The second person (B) admits there is no way that he can possibly pay back his debt and doesn't even make an attempt. There happens to be a benevolent wealthy man who promised to pay the debts of both men by issuing a blank cheque. Mr. B takes up the offer while Mr. A insists that he doesn't need the free gift, that he will pay it all off by himself. Mr. B becomes debt free while Mr. A remains a slave to the debtor. Now tell me what's wrong with the morality of this scenario?

It is impossible to debunk Pascal's famous wager. He simply said that the Bible says that if you come to Christ you gain everlasting life. If you don't, you end up in Hell.

By becoming a Christian you can't lose. If you are right you gain everlasting life, and if you are wrong and there's no afterlife, you won't even know it. So it's a win/win situation for the Christian and lose/lose situation for the ungodly.
