Exactly as you have written..its a mans world after all. sometimes i feel adoption is the way to go for matured single women without children or those that are too scared to get married..at least nobody will come and shame you for not even having any kids.This option sometimes crosses my mind whenever i see the various marital issues in Nigeria; how women are made to endure all form of inhuman treatment in in the name of marriages and they are expected to be silence and persevere through it all. Then when they leave, they will be called all kind of negative names.so many of them have lost their lives to violence from their husbands some have died of high blood pressure from their cheating and irresponsible husbands.Some marriages are good though but i believe many Nigerians are pretending about having a perfect marriage when its actually a terrible one. So true my sister. I just pray to God that my 3 brothers will not fall under the same category as most of this men that are misbehaving in society.

Even my own dad that I looked up to since I was born, I never knew he could turn out to be like them, yes he doesnt beat my mum still the things he has done as a man and is still doing just coz he is wealthy, ahhhhh God I forgive him but I can never look at my dad the same again. Because of him, I dont want anything to do with men, I just want kids, I sincerely don't a man. I find it so hard to trust men, like if they told me good morning I would go outside to double check it is actually morning.

Yes there are good relationships our there but those ones are rare to find and sometimes we have to be careful about those ones we see as good or perfect relationships as in fact they really are worse, trust me, I have a friend who did everything for her man and whenever you see these two together you would really envy them from afar and this girl anywhere she goes, she turns head as in this girl was what you call an African Goddess and this girl is so pretty as in she is gorgeous(no homo) and she would tell us all the different positions she gives her men and even when they are both in public they would literally start kissing and rubbing each other in different places that if you didn't know they were married you would think she is a prostitute and everything and she even goes to the gym, and this girl is slim but curvy. This girl has several businesses (way before she even met her husband and she is is a very strong Black woman as in, she is smart) and her husband is also a wealthy man too. She takes good care of herself and her home and this girl can coook and they have a son together and when we found out her husband sleeps with different women left right and centre, that day did it for me. If you see how this girl looks now, I really cry each time, as in she is no longer the same and she literally moved out of their home to her duplex with her son and this girl is one of my good friend. Before I used to have hope, not anymore.

I have lost faith in humanity.

Seriously God help us all.

The man could have been a jerk or a devil but an outright celebration of divorcing the very person you chose from the whole world as husband is going way to far.
