Naturally I don't do this, but in a bid to offer assistance to our Nairaland brothers and sisters in Uyo and Calabar, ive decided to run a 50% subsidized scan/diagnosis on German cars (my normal fee is usually NGN10,000 Non negotiable), and for Japanese cars 25% off (my normal scan fee is usually NGN5,000 non negotiable).

The Scan/diagbosis date starts on 26th March-1st April, 2017 (excluding 31st).

Note: I'd not go to peoples houses to scan. We meet at a neutral location within Uyo and/or Calabar respectively.

Bros u still have a lot to learn and understand about diagnosis.
There are scanner of 4k and scanner of 1M ,and apart from that hundreds of other dedicated diagnostics kits for different purposes apart from the skillset and mental power to analyse .So u can not fix price for what a diagnostician set for his business .
In due time his work will speak for his fee.

This comment seems like a typical 'Kazeem' advise. It's one thing to own a diagnostic scanner and a different game to carry out actual diagnosis and the interpretation of the DTC codes thereafter. So many car owners have diagnostic equipment yet they visit mechanic workshops.

The response does appear as a smear campaign. It's an offer & you are not obliged to patronise him, so don't discourage others.

Hope those 4k scanners can scan ABS, SRS airbags, BCM, TCM, reprogramme TPMS and do a whole lot of reprogramming of other individual functions in a car before you mislead folks cos of your hare speech.

As you can see, this is approx N4k, it does all you listed above, I have used this B4,
I will repeat, Scanners do not fix car people do.But it would be nice if car owners know a wee bit about the car they drive so no one can take them for a ride.

For your info I'm bringing a genuine licences Delphi DS150e plus adapters and an autel MD801 for the purpose of my programme in Calabar and Uyo.

Go figure the price of a genuine licenced Delphi, its user level and capability so you can stop ranting like a rabied dog.

You will not understand what I am saying until you use a professional scanner. Show me any scanner in that your DIY league that can graph or scope. Any that can record a movie? The link above is for an anonymous "scanner". Funny.

With all you know, if you take your car to a dealership and they pull any of those toys, will you allow them work on it?

Reply, go thru my Abuja car repair thread. You'd see it I have been using it for a while. I will do. Though, it got bad, I've fixed it and its back in use.

When U heading says scanning you should have included fix..In the society where I live there is nothing like auto diagnostic stand alone . U diagnose amd you fix . If that's what you are doing then xclelent .
That assumption that I have things cheaper that nahhh lie ohhh .
On a serious note why do t yoy get the key coders they are now like £400 . And they are diagnostic too
