Nope. It wil be reset, since if you Date of birth fall on weekend you will get the birthday messages...

Nightly stable is released to a few random users, before the main stable update is released to the general public. But after updating with the nightly, your phone shows 'stable rom'.

The nightly update can be suspended if users give a negative feedback about it.

I would suggest you always skip the nightly and wait for the full public release. The redmi note 3se 8.2 nightly was suspended after it locked users out. The only solution was for them to factory reset their phone.

But since most mi5 users are able to manually check for update, it has been released to the general public.

The snapdragon variants will surely get it. I'm only judging the note 4 mtk based on how they treated the note 3 mtk

Soonest, you should be able to download miui 8.2 but no one can say which Android version it's gonna be on.

You can still change your region to india to get different fonts without update na. Try it.
