1)Not all laws are written down. Some of the most strictly adhered laws are unwritten. E.g. Acceptable behaviour in public.

2)Pretty face or not has little to do with confidence as do first impression. Especially when it comes to physical assessment. Ugly people will always be derided for their looks FIRST before we care to find out anything else about them. You and everyone else is the society. Sorry it can't be taken out of this discussion.

Believing all the new age " I am not a conformist" talks is practically self deceit. To not conform there must be a standard to rebel against. To rebel against a standard is to accept that standard as a pillar in your decision making process. To accept a standard is to conform to it notwithstanding the sense. This is purely logic.

3)I don't care what a woman does with her life much less her face but I am not rolling with an ugly woman both on and off makeup. Mutually exclusive.
