He is advocating against girl child marriage but got married to an 18-year old.. I know some people will say an 18year old is an adult but we all know that if that girl was giving a choice and actually wanted to marry at that age,she would marry someone that is definitely not her father's age.

If you can band this early marriage for your people. You have done a great thing for the north and have written your name in gold but Yerima will give you a hard fight because it will affect him a lot as he will not be able to divorce the older ones and marry a twelve year old again.

After getting married to an under aged girl, he now wants to ban it. Arrant Nonsense.

Sanusi was once in government as the head of affairs of the apex bank. He had opportunity to help the country in his own little way, but it was during his regime as CBN governor that we witnessed so much corruption. (GEJ days). He only spoke of missing money 2 months to the expiration of his tenure. He also married an 18 year old princess as his fourth wife.

Talk is cheap.
Modify and quote date of the marriage to the princess/emirs fourth wife, it will add more weight to your comment. Thankyou.

In Nigeria, everything is seen as based on tribe and religion... If I remember correctly, Islamic Banking is seen as one of the best because of its free interest rate.... Banking and Finance students should throw more light. .....e don tey wey I do am for school

Though his talks always make sense but he doesn't make sense.
How to you advocate for anti-child abuse when you did same?
How do you talk about corruption when you've being link to the highest corruption that ever happen?
What did you tell those who troop to you to go and build big mosques in Nigeria?
What did you say concerning the sharia court that is being used for humiliation of both Christians and innocent Islam.

Baba that your bill would be dead on arrival. Even for the Kano wey you dey, your own Islamic clerics would rise up against you and tell you that it's unislamic and all sorts.
Good thinking though. One day northern Nigeria would be liberated from the shackles and retrogressive ideologies tied to Islam. They have dragged southern Nigeria backwards for too long in the spirit of one naijeriya and federal character.

Why think haphazardly, is Sanusi not an adherent of the same Islam you have just bigoted about. Quality thinking is rare these days. Maybe, this same sanusi had been baptized into Christianity by apostle Sule.

The Emir has spoken

I am currently drafting a bill that will be sent to the State Assembly for legislation against early marriage. We need to ban it, all this issues of maternal health and Almajiri are courtesy of early marriage as a result of lack of education for our girl children, this is bringing us back.

Senator oya when it reach una hand
Just pass Am quick quick
